There’s nothing quite like Westview in the fall 🍂

The leaves are changing, the air is crisp and the course is looking extra beautiful!

A few fall golf reminders:
🍁Those beautiful leaves can make finding your ball extra tricky - remember to keep your search time short and take “re-leaf” when needed.

❄️Frost is a factor at this time of year - on cooler mornings, watch for a notification from our tee sheet to see if your time has been affected - tee times will be held in sequence and permitted as soon as our grounds crew gives the go-ahead. We appreciate your patience, it helps keep the course healthy!

📸Don’t forget to tag us in your photos of the changing leaves on the course 🧡

Number 6 on the Lakeland course has seen some subtle changes over the last little while - a new fence for the path around the blue and white tees (made from reclaimed wood from the course!) and plenty of work on the beautiful gardens 🌷

Best advice for this par 4 is to take an extra club, or maybe two, into the deep, contoured green to give yourself the best chance at a safe approach ⛳️

⛳️Hole number five of the Middle course is a perfectly framed par 3 that can play anywhere from a wedge to a 5-iron. Hitting the green in regulation is key, as the quirky, undulating surface can lead to tricky up-and-downs from any missed shot.

This hole has also been the site of a few Aces over the years 🏆(and more near misses than we can count!)

Homestead may be the “most walkable” of Westview’s three nines, but get ready for a tough par 4 when you arrive at hole number 9. The green slopes sharply from right to left, so the smart play is to stay below the hole.

What’s your strategy for finishing strong on Homestead? ⛳️

08/13/2026

Westview’s annual aeration of the greens is officially complete! 🕳️⛳️

This necessary work helps reduce compaction, improve drainage and allow for better air flow, which leads to firmer, healthier turf. All three of Westview’s Nines have now been aerated and surfaces will be fully recovered over the next few days. Golfers should expect to see traces of sand-filled holes as the greens return to full strength 💪

Thanks to all of our hard working staff for putting in the effort to keep Westview’s greens some of the best in the biz!

⛳️Westview’s Homestead Nine is home to our signature hole, with Pop Nisbet’s oak tree guarding the centre left of the fairway on hole number five. Accuracy off the tee is essential - a drive favouring the left side will open up the best angle into a wide, undulating green. This classic hole rewards precision and positioning.

If you’re one of our golfers who loves playing Homestead, what’s your favourite hole?
