I have been in practice since 2009, travelling the continent using and developing my skills. As my business name says, the philosophy of my practice lies in the “Science of Wellbeing.” Movement is essential in everything we do. When movement is compromised, it creates a cascade of negative effects felt throughout the body, both physically and psychologically. Massage therapy and Pilates are tools
that can assist in bringing the body and mind to an optimal state. My practices are rooted in traditional Swedish Massage, deep tissue, myofascial release Cranio Sacral Therapy and Classical Pilates. However, I am curious and like to broaden my repertoire with different methods, techniques and theories. My practices have evolved with my growing experience and clientele. I love working with everyone, young and old, with a zest for life and an interest in being active and proactive in their health and wellness journey. No one is too young or old to reap the benefits of improved movement and wellness. When it comes to massage, your treatment is unique; there is no one-size-fits-all approach. I am perceptive and take an empathetic approach to my treatments. I will listen to your concerns and observe your body's response, and together, we will find what works best for you to achieve long-lasting results. In that case, With kindness, I will motivate you through movement, building your confidence, and helping you discover and develop your physical and mental strength. I firmly believe that a sense of humour combined with discipline is a winning combination for success in any fitness goal! I am always open to questions, so please feel free to ask. I love to educate people about what I know about the body, and if I don’t know, you have given me something new to research. I come from a non-judgemental place, and your inquiries (within reason and respect) are between you and me. I am excited to practice in Antigonish and look forward to our journey together! Massage Therapy Services are available in 30, 60, and 90-minute sessions with direct billing to most insurance providers. Please message me to book your appointment today. I currently do not have a group Pilates class at the moment. I will post as soon as one is organized. For private sessions, please message me. Some “Get to know me facts.”
