Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing curling moms and especially ours. We had an incredible season and we know none of it would have been possible without you.

Thank you for every early morning, every long drive, every hotel booking, meal, fundraiser, sponsor connection, social media post, practice, pep talk, and cheer from the stands. You were there through every win, every tough loss, and every kilometre travelled this season.

You are the coaches, drivers, organizers, accountants, photographers, social media managers, supporters, and biggest fans all rolled into one. The time, energy, and love you put into this sport and into us never goes unnoticed.

We are so grateful for everything you do to help us chase our goals and create memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for being such a huge part of our journey this season. Happy Mother’s Day!

Skipper recently had the opportunity to attend the NHCC AGM and present the club with one of our Alberta jerseys as a heartfelt thank you. Nolan grew up in the club, and their support has meant so much to our team throughout our journey.
We’re incredibly grateful for the financial support, the extra goodies for our giveaway bags, and—just as importantly—the enthusiastic cheers along the way. NHCC has truly been a home for our team. The moment we walked through in our Alberta gear before heading to Nationals, and were met with that wave of support, made everything feel real. It reminded us that we were proudly representing blue and gold.
NHCC is a special place, and we were honored to show our appreciation by presenting them with a jersey.

This week is National Volunteer Week!
We want to extend a huge thank you to our coach, who has volunteered countless hours over the past few seasons—supporting us in our goals and being there every step of this crazy journey. We know it’s not always easy, and often a thankless job. The time you invest behind the scenes is more than most people can imagine, and it never goes unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do for us.
We also want to recognize the many other volunteers who make our sport possible—especially fellow coaches. Every day, you create positive, safe, and inclusive sport experiences that shape not only athletes, but people. Your time, care, and energy make a lasting impact on our athletes and our community.
A special shoutout as well to those working behind the scenes. From serving on boards, to running bonspiels, organizing provincial and national events, making ice, and everything in between—you are the heartbeat of our sport.
Quite simply, our sport doesn’t happen without you. Thank you.

Our final event of the season is here!

We may not be on the same team, but we’ll all be competing at the Curling Alberta U20 Mixed Doubles Provincial Championships this weekend at the North Hill Curling Club in Calgary with our mixed doubles partners.

Games kick off Thursday morning at 8:00 AM and run through the weekend. Scores will be available on the Curling Alberta website, and you can watch the action live on the NHCC YouTube channel (links available on their website).

Come cheer us on in person or tune in from home! Looking forward to a fun weekend of competition, some friendly rivalry, and definitely giving each other a hard time.

We had a great weekend but came up just a bit short in the final. Congratulations to Team Harris on the championship!

A fitting way to close out our U18 curling journey. This marked the final game for Spencer and Nolan after five seasons together, and four seasons of great battles with Parker. What a run!

A huge thank you to Marc and Nicole, along with all of the blue jacket volunteers, for putting on such an incredible event. Nicole, we know how much work goes on behind the scenes, and it truly showed — an amazing job.

Thank you as well to all of the sponsors for supporting junior curling — it makes opportunities like this possible.

And to the staff and ice crews at all of the host clubs, thank you for the outstanding hospitality and excellent ice. We know how challenging this time of year can be, and it did not go unnoticed.
