The BMX community in Alberta is mourning the loss of Jonas Tremel. We stand with the family and community in support. Rest in peace.
๐คIn Loving Memory of Jonas Tremel๐ค
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness, we share the passing of
Calgary BMX's President Jonas Tremel.
Jonas dedicated his time, energy, and heart to our organization. He believed in this sport, in our riders, and in the power of community. His encouragement, generosity, and steady presence helped shape countless memories on and off the track.
Jonas didn't just support BMX โ he lived it. His impact will continue every time riders line up at the gate, families gather trackside, and our community comes together.
We are grateful for the years we shared, the legacy he leaves behind, and the love he gave. He will always be part of our BMX family.
Our deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
๐คMillenia Engineering has graciously organized a Go Fund Me campaign to help the family with immediate expenses, which can be found here:

Donations may also support his daughter Hailey with schooling and his son Dylan, who coaches BMX in Calgary, as he prepares for the 2028 Olympics.
We respectfully request that all condolences be sent to the email address below in order to provide the family with the time and space they require to grieve:

All messages will be thoughtfully gathered and shared with the family.
