A collaboration between the 30th TAFISA World Congress Secretariat and the Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC), TAFISA World Walking Day 2026 is set to take place on:

All venues will host the walk concurrently across Botswana! 🇧🇼🚶🏾‍♂️🚶🏾‍♀️

This year, we walk under the theme: 🎯 “Your Baton, Your Cause.”

What is TAFISA?

TAFISA stands for The Association For International Sport for All—a global movement promoting sport and physical activity as tools for healthier, more inclusive and connected communities.

Botswana is an active member of TAFISA through the Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC), supporting initiatives that promote Sport for All, physical activity, inclusion, youth and community development.

🇧🇼 Botswana has also participated in TAFISA initiatives, including World Walking Day and other community-based programmes.

🏉 BIUST 7s Tournament – What a Great Start! 🏉
What a fantastic way to kick off the 2026 Rugby 7s at the just-ended BIUST 7s Tournament! 🔥👏
Congratulations to all the teams that took part and gave us some exciting rugby throughout the day.
