🏏 BLASTERS & LEVEL 2 JUNIORS ARE BACK!

Wednesday afternoons are all about the KCF Advisory junior cricket at South Rock State School.

🟢 CRICKET BLASTERS
⏰ 4:30pm–5:30pm
👥 Ages 5–8*

Designed for our youngest and beginner cricketers, Blasters uses fun games and activities to develop basic cricket skills, confidence and teamwork.
*open up to age 11 based on skills.

🟢 LEVEL 2 JUNIORS
⏰ 4:30pm–5:30pm
👥 Ages 10–13

Level 2 juniors are returning to the nets for structured batting and bowling development as preparations begin for the summer season.

Level 1 and 3 training to be announced soon.

🏏 CRICKET REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN FOR 2026/27!

The countdown to summer cricket is officially on at the City Cave Yarrabilba Cricket Club

Registrations are now open for:
🟢 Junior Cricket
🟢 Senior Cricket

Woolworths Blaster Cricket is also currently underway for Term 3, with Term 4 dates about to launch.

Register by Wednesday 9 September to choose from one of our Early Bird offers:
✅ $30 off your registration fee
✅ Five Hoppy’s Car Wash vouchers to sell, providing potential savings of up to $50
✅ Approved volunteers can receive FREE registration fees in return for a 12 month commitment

Early registration helps us confirm teams, coaches and competition nominations, particularly across our junior program.

There’s plenty happening at the City Cave Yarrabilba Cricket Club as we prepare for the upcoming summer season. Check the calendar for our important training, registration, grading, competition and club event dates.

📅 SIGN-ON DAY SATURDAY 12 SEPTEMBER
Join us at South Rock State School from 12:00pm–3:00pm for:
✅ Senior and junior cricket sign-on
✅ Compulsory grading for all junior players
✅ Free BBQ lunch
This will be followed by outdoor court cricket matches from 3:00pm–4:30pm.

📅 MINGLE MARKETS — SUNDAY 27 SEPTEMBER
Come and see us at Darlington Parklands from 7:30am–12:00pm for one of our final junior cricket sign-on opportunities.

🏆 JUNE VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH — MATT GREEN! 🏆

This month, we’re celebrating one of our true club legends:
Matt Green.
U10 Winter Coach, Raffle selling genius and Sausage Sizzle Guru!!!

Matt has stepped up massively over the winter period, taking on his first coaching role and doing a fantastic job supporting our young cricketers.

He is also consistently one of the first people to put his hand up for BBQ duties, meat-tray raffles and anything else that helps our club succeed.

Matt’s willingness to get involved, help wherever needed and contribute with a smile represents true Red Arrows spirit.

As our June Volunteer of the Month, Matt can relax with his own Flauna session donated by our principle partner City Cave Yarrabilba

Have a Flauna on us, Matt....you’ve earned it!

City Cave Yarrabilba Cricket Club registrations for seniors are now open. Whether you are a lifetime player, returning to the game after a 20 year hiatus or never played before, it does not matter.

Seeking players of all ages and skills sets for our A, B and C grade seniors team this summer.
