So after a little bit of down time we finally pulled the engine out and inspected the issue.
What we found was not a surprise but it definitely made a little mess.
Anyway onward and upward new engine build incoming for car 88.

Last weekend saw the civil Task team take on their last race for the season at Sapphire Speedway.
Unfortunately number 88 engine had enough by the third race ending races 3/2/Dnf due to engine implosion.
Number 22 struggling with some electrical issues but making it to the 39 lap feature and coming home with a second place driven by Harley Inskip well driven.

Thanks to all the sponsors this season supporting us to enjoy the crazy sport. All moves Merimbula , Civil Task pty Ltd, LS fabrication, Wolumla Pub, sweet and sour lolly’s.

Little clip of the nsw title at Tamworth. after the car copping a big hit in the front on the first race and bending the k frame it would not steer. We did the best we could but it just was not good enough.

Jarred and Tom attended Sapphire Speedway our home track.
First heat jarred started p6 finished p2 Tom p5 finished p3
Second heat jarred started p2 and had a dnf
Tom p2 finished p2 after being rear of field due to spinning out.
Jarred was unable to repair car Tom started p6 finished p2
Putting Tom on p2 for feature and held that the whole race. Great day out
Now time for the kids to get to work on the cars 😜

The track was looking great at Moruya speedway. Stockers got one heat in then the rain set in. Unfortunately the meeting was canceled

Car 88 has had the repairs needed to get back on the dirt. Thanks to all our sponsors for the support. Every little bit helps.

Well what can I say traveled 1800kms over the weekend to race the nsw title in Tamworth heat 1 I got taken out.
Mangled everything on the right side.
We tried to pull it out the best we could raced the next two heats finishing last in both. Could not get around the corners with the bent kframe.
Anyway that’s racing hopefully get it sorted for next weekend.
