We are currently running 2 Cat 1 Tankers and a Cat 7 Tanker. We are always looking for new members! If you see a fire do not post to this page contact 000 immediately!

Calling all youths aged 14 to 18 wanting to get involved in your local Walla Walla Rural Fire Brigade

🔥 Juniors Program – Coming Soon!

Our friends at Lavington Rural Fire Brigade are inviting any Walla Walla youths interested in joining the Juniors Program to get involved!

Participants will become members of Walla Walla Rural Fire Brigade, while training alongside other juniors at Lavington.

👩‍🚒 Who’s it for?
Youth aged 14–18

📍 Where?
Lavington Rural Fire Brigade
629 Krautz Street, Lavington

🕕 When?
Monday nights | 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Starting 4 May 2026

🚒 What to expect:
• Hands-on firefighting skills (based on FF1 & FF2)
• Weekly structured training
• Visits to other local brigades & emergency services, station tours, trucks, equipment, life skills and teamwork development
🌧️ Wet weather? No problem!
We’ll run indoor sessions with theory and interactive learning.

Alan has been a member of the NSW Rural Fire Service for 60 years.

Alan is a well known local legend who continuously puts his time and efforts into our local community here in Walla Walla

We couldn’t think of a more deserving person of this award.
