Tumut Bullants Junior Rugby Union Club The Tumut Bullants play in the Southern Inland Rugby Union (SIRU) junior competition.

The other clubs in the competition include Wagga, Hay, Albury, Griffith, Leeton, Temora, Young, West Wyalong, Grenfell and Cootamundra.

🏉 U17 GIRLS — WHAT A RUN! ❤️🖤💙💛

What an achievement from our Albury/Tumut U17 Girls today!

The Steaming Bullants kicked off their finals campaign against Young in an absolute battle. Scores were locked at 12-all at full time, sending the game into extra time, where the girls kept fighting and came away with a thrilling 22–17 win.

That win earned them a place in the Preliminary Final later that day against Wagga. After a tough start, the girls worked their way back into the contest and came out firing in the second half. They never stopped competing, eventually going down 36–10.

To finish the season in the Preliminary Final and just one game short of the Grand Final is a fantastic achievement for this group.

They fought hard, backed each other and represented Albury and Tumut with plenty of heart right until the final whistle.

For five of our girls, this marks the end of their junior rugby journey as they make the step into senior rugby next year, while some of our U14 girls will be ready to step up and join the U17s.

And there’s always room for more! 🙌🏼 We’d love to see even more girls joining us in 2027 as we continue to grow girls rugby across both clubs.

What a season, girls! We can’t wait to see what 2027 brings! 👏🏼

🏉 SO CLOSE FOR OUR U12s! ❤️🖤💙💛

What an effort from our Albury/Tumut U12s today!

Heading into their elimination final against Cootamundra, the Steaming Bullants knew they were in for a tough game but this team came ready to play.

It was an absolute battle from start to finish.

Courageous defence, some huge tackles and great attacking rugby saw our U12s take a 12–5 lead midway through the second half.

Coota managed to level the scores with just two minutes remaining, sending the game into extra time, where they eventually came away with the 17–12 win.

Our U12s certainly didn’t go down without a fight, pushing right until the final whistle and coming incredibly close to pulling off the upset.

There really were no standouts today because every single one of these boys and girls stepped up. They left absolutely everything out on the field and should be so proud of the way they played, supported each other and represented both clubs.

Not the result we wanted, but what an effort and what a season from this team ❤️

🏉 WHAT A DAY FOR OUR U10s! ❤️🖤💙💛

What an achievement from this little team today!

The Albury/Tumut U10s came up against Temora in their first final (a team they had never beaten before) and put together an awesome team performance to come away with the win and earn themselves a spot in the Preliminary Final later that day.

There they faced minor premiers Wagga Crows Red, and while their finals run came to an end, they can be incredibly proud of what they achieved.

This team has been so much fun to watch this season. Boys from Albury and Tumut coming together, building combinations, backing each other and playing some great rugby along the way.

Today was a true whole-team effort and every single player played their part. We simply wouldn’t have had this opportunity without the boys from both clubs coming together as one team ❤️

From where the season started to making it all the way to the Preliminary Final. What an achievement!
