🏆💙 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗥 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗘𝗥𝗦 & 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 🥇⚽

Congratulations to our U13 Girls and Under-13 White teams for winning their Football Victoria Latrobe Valley Grand Finals today!

Olympians went two from two, with both grand finalists winning on the day to each secure the league title/grand final double.

For the girls the victory completed a perfect season, winning every game, although the grand final proved the toughest of the lot. Sale United were resolute in defence and extremely difficult to break down, with the keeper producing a string of excellent saves. However the Blues' class shone through. Talisman Amelia Martin grabbed an early goal before Nada Ismail - shifted from defence to attack in the second half - added a decisive second goal late on to record a 2-0 win.

The Under-13B decider was as nail-biting as predicted. Goalless at the break, the Blues had to be patient and eventually their pressure paid off, with Henry Phillips getting the breakthrough goal. Newborough Yallourn Utd never gave in and Olympians knew they couldn't afford to sit back. They continued to attack and Harry Duncan's brilliant finish made to 2-0 to put the result beyond doubt.

💙⚽ 𝗕𝗟𝗨𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗚𝗘 🏆🏟️

The big day has arrived for two of our junior teams - GRAND FINAL DAY.

Tomorrow our U13 Girls and U13 White teams will get the chance to run out in front of their home supporters and attempt to add an exclamation point to an already incredible season.

Our U13 Girls have a perfect season in their sights, having won every game they have played in 2026. Sale's Swanettes have come as close as anyone to stopping the Blues juggernaut and there's no doubt they will be out to do everything they can to challenge our girls in the finale. Anything can happen in a game like this and Coach Tony will certainly be ensuring nothing is taken for granted until the final whistle blows. Kick off is 9:30am on Pitch #1.

Olympians White's run to the U13B title went down to the final day when they secured top spot on the table on goal difference from Tyers and Newborough Yallourn United. The latter overcame the former 2-1 in the semi-final to book a grand final date with the Blues. The two sides only met once during the home and away season - a thrilling 3-3 draw at Burrage Reserve back in late June. With goal difference all that has separated these two teams and a matchup that pits the league's meanest attack against the leanest defence, this one really is anyone's game and the Blues' home support could prove the difference for Coach Mick's side. Kick off is 11:10am on Pitch #2.

We are so proud of everything these two teams have achieved this season, regardless of tomorrow's result, and can't wait to cheer them on one final time.

🏆 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗔𝗧 𝗢𝗟𝗬𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗦 🏆

Traralgon Olympians are incredibly proud to host this year’s FV Latrobe Valley Junior Grand Finals, with two of our own teams taking to the pitch on what promises to be a huge day of junior football! 💙⚽️

Our U13 Girls get the day underway at 9:30am, taking on Sale United, before U13 White lines up against Newborough Yallourn United in the U13B decider at 11:10am.

With seven titles up for grabs and eight clubs represented on the day, we’re set for an outstanding showcase of junior football right here in the Latrobe Valley. Good luck to all teams.

Egg and bacon rolls will be available in the morning alongside our canteen, which will be open as usual throughout the day.

A friendly reminder to all clubs and supporters to please observe and respect the identified playing and spectator areas and to be considerate when using the change rooms to ensure the space is accessible for all teams as allocated.

🔵⚽ 𝗖𝗨𝗣 𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗦 - 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗘 🏠🫡

Admin got a little ahead of things last week when promoting the opening round of cup competitions, so now we've reached the *actual* quarter-final stage, where we get to play host to some massive games at HP Reserve. It's also an opportunity to sign off and celebrate a season of incredible home support.

Following their visit in the final round of the league two weeks ago, Falcons 2000 are back in town, this time to battle the Blues for a spot in the Battle of Britain Cup and Shopwell Trophy semi-finals.

The visitors' senior and reserves men's sides overcame NYU in the opening round last weekend, with their title winning women's side also advancing to take on Moe United in the Browne-Huizer Cup quarter-final.

The Blues' 3rd division side will face Fortuna 60 in the Nan Bosma Cup.

As noted this is the last chance to see your Blues in action at home this season, so get along and show that amazing support one more time.

Another week, another long range stunner from Amelia Martin. This one helped send the U13 girls into this weekend's GRAND FINAL.

Once again it was made possible by great determination and team play to win the ball back multiple times and create space for the shot.

The cup journey continues for three of our four senior sides following yesterday's opening round matches at Olympic Park in Moe.

The senior men began their Battle of Britain Cup defence with a 3-0 win against the hosts. All the goals came before half-time with Jake (2) and Riduan finding the net.

Tilly gave us a dream start in the Browne-Huizer Cup clash, putting us ahead 1-0 inside five minutes. Moe hit back quickly and led 2-1 at the break before going on to win 6-1 and bring our women's team's 2026 campaign to a close.

The reserves men had to be patient but eventually broke down a stubborn Moe outfit, with Hayden, Ollie, Zak and Max scoring in a 4-1 win to advance in the Yallourn Shopwell Trophy.

The game of the day was arguably the Nan Bosma Cup clash, in which our 3rd division side fought back to claim a 5-3 win against Traralgon City. A couple of early mistakes at the back had us 2-0 down inside four minutes. Duong pulled one back before another costly turnover led to City restoring their two-goal buffer. The boys pulled up their socks and a brilliantly worked goal to Dan made it 3-2 by the break before an outstanding second half turned the game on its head, with Patty, Duong and Enrique on target to complete the comeback.

U9s TOM SANDS CUP

What a cracking day for our Olympians U9 boys & girls at the Churchill United Soccer Club Tom Sands Cup! ⚽️🏆

Both teams fought their way into the finals, with an incredible moment seeing simultaneous penalty shootouts across both fields as they battled for a spot in the Grand Final!

GIRLS: The only all girls team in the entire competition! What an achievement! Congratulations girls on finishing Runners Up in Division 3!

BOYS: What a comeback! Down 3–1 with just 5 minutes to go in the semi-final, our boys dug deep and scored TWO goals to level it up at 3–3 before winning through on penalties!

And then they went all the way and secured the grand final wining 3-0.
