WEEKEND RECAP 🦀❤️
This weekend we took a squad of 25 players bonded by a jersey, a shared love for the game and one common goal: connection.
For most of us, our regular competitions see us lining up against each other, or life simply gets in the way. But footy has a way of bringing mates and family back together. There’s nothing better than staying connected through a brotherhood like this.
We also had 10+ legends behind the scenes coaches, strappers, League Safe, water runners and all-round good humans who gave up their time to help. To our staff, thank you. To the players who put their bodies on the line for this jersey, thank you. It’s hard to truly put into words how proud and grateful we are of every single one of you.

Game 1 – 8:45am vs Grizzlies
A hot start to the day against our old rivals. As always, they were physical and ready to put a shot on. We lost two troops early but stood strong.
Winners 16–0.
Game 2 – 11:00am vs Cabbage Tree
The side that knocked us out last year this one meant something. One of the toughest games we’ve played in three years. Full credit to Cabbo, but it was our time. We lost another player but kept marching.
Winners 19–12.
Game 3 – 1:00pm vs Ron Swan Memorial
Another strong outfit that pushed us all the way. We stuck solid, defended tough and earned it.
Winners 24–12.
Semi Final vs Galamaay Connections
A stacked side with a healthy bench and plenty of class. An unreal game of footy that went right to the wire. We showed enormous heart in the second half and nearly snatched it late, but they were too strong on the day.
Galamaay 16–10.
They went on to win the KO full credit to them.
