📣ANNOUNCEMENT📣

On behalf of the Thomson Committee we would like to announce the captains for season 2026/2027

Leading the 1sts will be two of our most experienced and premiership players Jhiah Baxter and Hamish Coulson, we expect with the amount of experience these two have they will lead our 1s well on and off the field.


Leading the 2nd X1 will be Jack Featherston again , after back to back finals campaigns Jack’s jovial nature and willingness to win will be sure to push the 2nds deep into the finals series this season.

Well done Jhiah , Hamish and Jack the whole club is behind you 🏏

Some exciting news , we have a brand new apparel range to launch. Above is the link for all players to order the new kit.

Senior players will be required to purchase to a new set of whites and the new training kit.

After-pay is available if required.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone in the new gear together.

The Thomson Cricket Club would like to announce its Committee positions for season 2026/2027.

We would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Dale Menzies for his outstanding seven years as president of the Thomson Cricket Club. Seven years represents an enormous commitment of time , energy and effort , and our club is stronger because of the dedication he has shown throughout his presidency.

Under Dales leadership, we have experienced significant success including premierships and consistent finals appearances across all grades , we have also seen growth in the womans section of the club and also have new facilities, leaving a lasting legacy on the club.

We wish all the committee team the best of luck for the upcoming season.

ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

The Thomson cricket club would like to announce that Charley Donohue has committed for 2026/2027.

After playing a few games in the back end of last season , Charley is ready to commit to a full season.

We are excited to see what Charley can bring us being a genuine all - rounder and wish him the best of luck for the season ahead .

NEW SIGNING 🏏

Callum Solway comes across to us as a promising young keeper batsman with a bright future currently playing in the Yorkshire Premier League North Division 2 for Fairburn CC 1st XI, so far this season he has already scored 391 runs with the bat whilst giving the opposition nightmares behind the stumps with 23 catches and 9 stumpings.

We can’t wait to see what Callum can do for his first time on Australian soil but more importantly we can’t wait to welcome him as a person into the Thomson family 💚💛

Next Sunday, 26 July, we will be hosting a Women’s Come & Try Day at 12pm in our brand-new training facility!

If you’ve ever thought about joining a team and giving cricket a try this summer, this is the perfect opportunity to have a go before making a full commitment.

Our women’s coaching team will be there to provide guidance, help you get started, and answer any questions you may have about signing up for the season.
