Thanks again to all the families and supporters of Federation Tennis- Tenterfield! It's been another awesome term where we have welcomed many new students into our programs! Seeing smiling faces on court and kids enjoying tennis is always our goal!

Next term we will be having a break from Red and Orange ball to allow our students the opportunity for more regular private lessons.

We will also be running a weekly Tournament Squad for our older players who are looking to really develop their games further in a longer squad format.

Please let me know if you are interested in being a part of this squad, or if you are interested in beginning the journey into private lessons.

RMS offers a great pathway for players of all ages and stages.

🎾 What is RMS?
The Regional Matchplay Series (RMS) is a Tennis NSW country competition that gives regional players regular, high-quality match play close to home. Events run across six NSW regions and focus on competitive round-robin match play, allowing players to earn regional points and improve their UTR (Universal Tennis Rating).

🎾 Age Groups (Boys & Girls)
10/U · 12/U · 14/U · 16/U · Opens

🎾 How it works
• Players earn points at each RMS event
• Points accumulate across the season
• The Top 8 players in each age group qualify for the
North West Champion of Champions
• Players must compete in a minimum of 4 RMS
events to be eligible for the North West Champion
of Champions
• The Top 8 boys and girls in each age group at the
North West Champion of Champions progress to
the Foundation Champion of Champions in Inverell

🔗 Player Registration (Important)
To enter RMS events in 2026, all players must have a Tennis registration (ID) number (an 11-digit number starting with 66). Players without an ID should register at:

The 1st JDS (Junior Development Series) tournament for the year is 15th of Feb in Armidale. 🎾🎾🎾
These tournaments are designed to help our North West Jnr Players compete against each other.
Players are broken into 10s & under, 12s & under and 14s and under with boys and girls separated.
Mr Flower might even be having a bash in the opens category for a bit of fun.

Court Hire Rates
We have 3 artificial grass courts, all with lights.

Members
$10 per hr per court, lights off
$15 per hr per court, lights on

Visitors
$15 per hr per court, lights off
$20 per hr per court, lights on

Clubhouse Hire
Our clubhouse has a kitchen with oven, fridge, crockery etc, air conditioning, toilets, and could seat approx 30 people for a sit down meal.

Half Day (4 hours) - $50

All Day Hire - $100
