Finishing up our Monday Night Summer Comp with some social snacks!

It was an exciting night of tennis with the top 2 teams coming into the final night on equal points, facing each other and, incredibly, drawing on the night! Congratulations to team 3 players Josh, Jeff and Cathy who were awarded the socks 🧦 (and court hire vouchers) after a count of total games won since the comp started back in February. Yes... you remember February, when it actually was Summer!

Also coming into the night with equal points were our teams playing for the wooden spoons. So much fun! This is what social competitive play is all about!

We run 2 Monday night comps for our members every year. The next one is our Monday Night Spring Comp, which will run between August 31st and December 14th 2026. All members 12 and over are welcome (including new members).

In the meantime, Wednesday night play continues, as does Thursday ladies tennis... and rumors of a members day on a weekend in August are just starting to circulate...

Thanks to everyone who came to our Tenterfield Tennis Fun Day, the weather was perfect and we certainly delivered on FUN!

Congratulations to Evie Douglas (aged under 12) who won our 3-Point Slam against children and adults alike.

Congratulations to Josh and Andrew Smith who were undefeated in Family Doubles.

Thanks to our major Bronwyn Petrie from Tenterfield Shire Council who popped in to show support for our day and draw some of the 10 lucky tickets.

A huge thankyou to our volunteers who made the clubhouse and courts look beautiful, and cooked and served such a generous and delicious spread of sandwiches, home-baked treats, and delicious soups.

These pictures were taken very early in the day, during a game of Community, before all the courts heated up for Family Doubles. There weren't many photos taken all day sorry - we were too busy playing tennis, enjoying the music, eating, chatting, laughing, and selecting prize winners.

What a day! 😃
