~ SILKS & CORDE LISSE with MIM ~

Because many of you weren’t available over the holiday weekend, we have combined two workshops into one!

Join Mim Wheeler on Saturday 11th April to be coached through high level skills on Silks and Corde Lisse.

Mim has spent the past 12 years performing & coaching across UK, Italy, Spain, Qatar and Australia. Most recently, she joined the national tour of the highly acclaimed show Oracle, starring as Scorpio. A resident coach at The Movement Academy, Mim teaches a range of students from beginners to professionals, and loves developing peoples skills and confidence.


C-CURVING, DYNAMICS & HANDSTANDS

Get your beats on and your C-Shapes out!!!

This workshop will focus on back balance evolutions, roll ups, side planches, beats, flares, dynamic entries, handstands and scorpions.

~ MEET COACH KAZ ~

We are thrilled to introduce Coach Kaz!

Kaz is a certified personal trainer and movement coach focused on developing strength, mobility, and body awareness through a variety of training methods.

He brings a diverse athletic background to his coaching, including 8 years of competitive springboard diving, over a decade of climbing experience, over a decade of competitive soccer, 2 years of circus arts training, and more.

“I have a strong foundation in designing efficient resistance training programs, supported by a deep understanding of human biomechanics. I specialize in coaching calisthenics, acrobatics, animal flow, and efficient resistance training.”

Aerial Foundations
Every Thursday 6:30-7:30pm

Aerial Foundations is the perfect starting point for anyone new to the world of aerial arts.

In this class, you’ll explore the fundamentals of trapeze, silks, and lyra, whilst building strength, mobility, and body awareness from the ground up.

Through guided progressions and supportive instruction, you’ll develop the core techniques, grips, and movements that form the foundation for safe and confident aerial practice, all while improving your fitness and having fun in the air!

The Movement Academy Development Series is an 8 week workshop aimed at progressing your skills through acrobatics, aerials and calisthenics, coached by a star team of professional acrobats.

Each week we deliver an in depth programme of flexibility, mobility, technique, strength and conditioning - in the air and on the ground - utilising floor, rings, bars, trapeze, silks and lyra.

Designed for anyone who is at the beginning of their journey in the world of aerials and acrobatics, through to those more experienced movers who wish to level up their skillset. From beginner to advanced movers; you’re guaranteed to discover more of what your body is capable of, whilst learning new skills with new sidekicks!

Plus, there will be a huge selection of beautiful trees for sale from our sister business, Keeper Bonsai, with all proceeds going directly towards our move!
