Super excited to announce that Tim Maynard and South Gundagai Automotive have come on board to support me in taking on the Bathurst 6 Hour with the RaceAway Track Time Team in the mighty Mazda SP25. Tim and his team have been great supporters of grassroots motorsport for a long time and its fantastic to be supported by them. We pack up and leave for the mountain in just over a week!! MX5 Cup Round 1 Race 1 as we kick off the year. Bit damp at the start but we got going. I was a bit unsure of throttle % to launch from with the new tune, so made sure I didn't stall it 🤣 It was a good start for the Ace Media, RaceAway Track Time, Tubby's Tyrepower Kirrawee MX5

We’re proud to welcome MX5 MANIA as the Official Naming Rights Partner of the MX5 Cup.

Simone, David, and the team have been part of the MX-5 scene for a long time, and their passion for the category and the drivers is clear. Having MX5 MANIA onboard is a big positive step for the Cup as we head into 2026.

We had the BEST time last weekend at Bluey’s Round Up with the legends at Motor Events Racing — a massive 16 hours of racing across the two circuits - Wakefield on Friday and Shelley Circuit on Saturday.

To make things interesting, we challenged the brains trust to calculate just how many gear changes we did across the full 16 hours of racing (quali and warmup not included)… and let’s just say — it was a LOT. 👀
