LTFA Person of the Month – August 2026 – Kyden

Every time I get the opportunity to write a Person of the Month, it continues to fill me with joy. Not because of what we achieve from a business perspective, but because of the impact we get to have from a human perspective. Kyden is one of those young men who constantly reminds me that when you put in the effort, results will follow.

Kyden continues to show up, whether it’s early mornings or late evenings, constantly refining his craft and looking for ways to become better. There is a reason he is currently playing at the highest level available to him for his age in the state, and that is his relentless drive and pursuit of improvement. What makes it even more special is that this drive is matched by a genuine passion for what he does and a willingness to continue learning.

What I love about Kyden is his ability to combine that passion and seriousness with a sense of fun. It makes coaching him incredibly enjoyable, but even more rewarding is the relationship you build with a young man who you know you have influenced, but who has also influenced you in return.

Kyden, you have influenced me and your other coaches in a way that reminds us that it is not simply the attainment of the goal, but the journey towards achieving it, where the real reward lies. That is what has made guiding you such a fulfilling experience. And, I must say, your banter has improved considerably over the years too!

Your achievements to date — whether representing your school in the final stages of the Bill Turner Cup or playing for one of the most prestigious clubs in the state — are certainly something to be proud of. But they don't define you. What defines Kyden is your energy, work rate, character, and most importantly, the smile and enjoyment you bring to everything you do.

Keep going, Kyden. Keep pushing. Keep enjoying the journey.

Congratulations on continuing to become the incredible young man you are — respectful, hardworking, honest, and full of passion. We are incredibly proud of you.

We had an incredible time at our recent Winter Holiday Camp.

All the behind the scenes work to make this camp go ahead means nothing without the amazing effort from all of the children across the 3-days. It was amazing!

We were thrilled to see some of our children who participated collect their very own LTFA medals, recognising their hardwork, improvement, teamwork and overall dedication across the 3-days. You can see just what it means to receive the LTFA medal.

Beyond that, seeing so many children make friends and smile throughout the 3-days makes every single bit of preparation worth it.

Even Coach Garvyn made a new friend, which we're so happy to see!

Thank you to all families for making this camp such an unforgettable one, and we look forward to seeing you at our next one!
