Studying and performing More Than a Woman choreo again in 2026, 15 years after I first did it in 2011 was a real FULL CIRCLE moment.

We performed 7 songs with 7 Aaliyah leads each showcasing her impeccable legacy curated by me Daryl Willem Morante.

This time, I got to bring it to life the way I had always envisioned it, honouring Aaliyah and the iconic choreography of Fatima Robinson. FatimaRobinson. Her influence still lives on.

I did this tribute and saw the Essence Festival Aaliyah Tribute soon after and was like... this is crazyyyyy... while they were rehearsing and tributing her, we were doing it also.

Rest in peace, Aaliyah. 🤍
