🏉 SYDNEY Meet Your Coach: Mark Gerrard – Back Three PSS Coach ⚡

We’re excited to welcome Mark Gerrard as the Back Three Position-Specific Skills Coach for Sydney.

A 24-cap Wallaby, 2007 Rugby World Cup squad member and Super Rugby champion with the ACT Brumbies, Mark was a standout fullback/winger known for his kicking game, aerial skills and finishing. He also represented NSW, Melbourne Rebels, and played professionally in Japan.

Mark now brings his elite experience to help outside backs refine positioning, kick return, decision-making and finishing in the modern game.

🏉 SYDNEY Meet Your Coach: Andrew Tuala – Hookers Specialist Coach (PSS) 🌟

We’re excited to welcome Andrew Tuala as the PSS Hookers Specialist Coach for the ARUA Sydney Camp. 🙌

Known for his physicality and versatility in the front row, Andrew brings elite experience across Super Rugby, NRC, MLR and international rugby. His career includes stints with the NSW Waratahs, NSW Country Eagles, Melbourne Rising, Greater Sydney Rams, Houston Sabercats, LA Giltinis, and international representation for Samoa. 💪🏉

With a strong focus on lineout throwing and scrummaging, Andrew will work closely with hookers to refine their set-piece skills and build the consistency required at the highest level.

🏉 SYDNEY Meet Your Coach: Angus Sinclair – Fly-Halves Specialist Coach (PSS) 🌟

We’re excited to welcome Angus Sinclair as the PSS Fly-Halves Specialist Coach for the ARUA Sydney Camp. 🙌

A long-time Northern Suburbs Rugby Club stalwart, Angus was a key member of the historic 2016 Shute Shield Premiership-winning side, ending a 41-year drought for the club. 🏆

Alongside his playing background, Angus brings strong high-performance coaching experience as Head of Rugby at SHORE School, NSW Waratahs U18 Academy Coach, and Backs & Skills Coach at Northern Suburbs, with professional playing experience overseas in Japan and the UK.

Angus will work closely with fly-halves on game management, decision-making, kicking craft, and leading a team under pressure.

We’re excited to welcome Michael “Mick” Snowden as the PSS Scrum-Halves Coach for the ARUA Sydney Camp. 🙌

A former Super Rugby scrum-half, Mick has played at the top level with the Melbourne Rebels and NSW Waratahs, alongside strong club rugby experience with Eastwood in the Shute Shield. He also spent time developing his game in New Zealand with Waikato in the ITM Cup.

Known for his competitiveness, game awareness, and resilience, Mick brings real insight into the demands of the No.9 role - helping young scrum-halves sharpen their decision-making, tempo control, and ex*****on under pressure.

🏉 SYDNEY Meet Your Coach: Hugh Perrett – Backrow Specialist Coach 🌟

We’re pleased to welcome Hugh Perrett as the Backrow Position-Specific Specialist Coach for the ARUA Sydney Camp. 🙌

A former Super Rugby flanker, Hugh played for the Melbourne Rebels after time in the NSW Waratahs system, and also gained valuable overseas experience with Sale Sharks and Bath Rugby in England.

At club level, Hugh captained Eastwood Rugby Club in the Shute Shield and represented the Greater Sydney Rams in the NRC, bringing strong leadership and breakdown expertise to the backrow.

As a specialist coach, Hugh will work with loose forwards on work rate, defensive impact, breakdown craft, and the physical demands of modern backrow play.

We’re excited to welcome Tyrone Smith as the Centres Position-Specific Specialist Coach for the ARUA Sydney Camp. 🙌

A former Australian Schoolboy and Super Rugby Rookie of the Year with the ACT Brumbies, Tyrone brings elite experience across both codes. His career includes professional rugby league with the Sydney Roosters and London Broncos, international representation for Tonga, and rugby union stints with the Brumbies, Australia A, the Barbarians, plus time in Japan and France.

Now serving as Director of Rugby at Sydney Grammar School, Tyrone is deeply invested in youth player development, helping young centres master strong fundamentals, smart decision-making, and physical dominance in the modern game.

We’re excited to welcome Campese Ma’afu back to the ARUA Sydney Camp as our Props Position-Specific Specialist Coach this January. 🙌

A powerful international prop with 50+ Test caps for Fiji, Campese enjoyed a distinguished professional career across Europe with Cardiff Blues, Northampton Saints, and Leicester Tigers. 💪

Bringing elite front-row knowledge and a player-first approach, Campese will work closely with props on scrummaging, physicality, and the technical detail required to perform at the highest level.

👉 Front-rowers, this is a rare opportunity to learn from one of the best in the business.
