NBPC it’s all about serious fun. We strive to have a smile at the end of every session no matter how hard or easy it is. Sessions last 60-70min.

We train from 8knots Bayview on Tuesday and Thursday morning at 6:30am OTW.

Congratulations everyone for your hard fought race at the Palm Beach Pursuit organised by Manly Warringah Kayak Club.

We’d like to congratulate all the Northern Beaches Paddle Club - NBPC paddlers who did an amazing job at representing our community.

Training helps and makes you not only a better paddler but a BETTER LOOKING ONE!!! look at those smiley faces!!

Our regular training session start at 6:30am every Tuesday and Thursday morning from the grass area next to @8 knots cafe ☕️

The Tuesday session is usually technique focused and the Thursday one more tempo/sprint type. Joining is free. Just turn up! Any level is a good level!

The weather is getting warmer and it’s finally summer. Love paddling with this bunch. Tuesday and Thursday morning from 6:30 am. joining this group is free and anyone is welcome. We do train for 60-70 min. Tuesday is usually technique session or hybrid and Thursday intervals. Starting from Gibson Marina Bayview then we enjoy a beautiful coffee and breakfast from 8 Knots Cafe

Happy new year 🥳 everyone. We’re back training every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8 Knots Cafe ☕️ grass area at 6:30 am on the water. Free, plenty of different paddling skills in the group and the best coffee ☕️ on the northern beaches after..what else do you need for getting out of bed?

We thought it was time to have a logo for our small paddling community. We started in March 2022 and since then we consistently train on Tuesday and Thursday morning at 6:30 am OTW.

We have all improved since our March 2022 start. Consistent training it’s helping our perfomance and it’s more fun when you go faster than the day before!

Today we did something different. We trained in land and water with the support and coaching of Peter Grimes president and coach of the Manly Warringah Kayak Club.

The paddling community is a wonderful thing.

Many of us are already members of the MWKC but many others have never experienced the kayak erg or paddling a k1.

We discussed and practiced new things aiming to improve our technique and overall fun and perfomance (there’s more fan in going faster than the day before).

We paddle on Tuesday and Thursday morning at 6:30 am from the grass area at Gibson Marina Bayview next to 8 Knots Cafe.

We paddle Tuesday and Thursday morning at 6:30am on the water and we launch from the grass area at Gibson Marina, Bayview.

The session goes for about 60minutes and we usually work on endurance, sprint and technique. Come and join us, it’s fun, it’s free and yes summer bodies are made in winter!!!

Free sessions with the great advantage of having beautiful 8 Knots Cafe nearby with the best coffee ☕️ in Pittwater.

We paddle Tuesday and Thursday morning at 6:30 OTW for about an hour. We start our sessions from 8 Knots Cafe grass area. There are all levels within the group but we start and finish together. We manage updates including attendance for the session via a watsup group. If you’d like to join (free sessions) send us a watsup message to 0421 068 892.

We are not commercially driven, we do not care what you paddle as we know that whatever you have chosen it’s good for you.

The best part of the session is the coffee ☕️ at the end so if you have 10-20min after it, we usually gather for a quick chat and a well deserved breakfast 🍳.

The Northern Beaches Paddle Club - NBPC is made by a good bunch of people wanting to improve their paddling skills by training together on a regular basis. The paddling group meets at 8 Knots Cafe grass area every Tuesday and Thursday morning. We are on the water at 6:30 am both days. We work on various aspect of the paddling realm. The sessions are free and anyone is welcomed. We cater for any skill level and we’re confident you will be better off joining us instead of paddling on your own. We always push each others, BUT We start together and We finish together.
