The Perfect Dumbbell Bench Press Step By Step Guide 💪🏋️‍♂️

1. Sit on the bench with dumbbells on your thighs, then lie back while bringing them to chest level.
2. Plant your feet firmly on the floor and keep them there throughout the set.
3. Maintain a slight natural arch in your lower back.
4. Keep your glutes and upper back pressed into the bench at all times.
5. Retract your shoulder blades by pulling them down and back.
6. Position the dumbbells directly over your chest with arms extended but not locked out.
7. Keep your wrists straight and stacked over your elbows.
8. Angle your elbows about 30–45° from your torso.
9. Lower the dumbbells slowly and under control toward your chest.
10. Reach a full stretch at the bottom without losing shoulder position.
11. Press the dumbbells upward in a slight arc toward each other.
12. Exhale as you press and keep tension through your chest.
13. Stop just short of locking out at the top.
14. Keep the dumbbells controlled and steady—no bouncing or swinging.
15. Maintain the same tempo and form for every repetition.
