Hi Everyone,

An opportunity exists if you wish to support an important exhibition. "Art for Takayna" is a fundraising exhibition to raise money and awareness to protect this wild and precious part of our island state.

And we were delighted to frame these couple of pieces by which will be a part of this great event.

So, if you're down south, check out all the info on the last pic and be sure to check it out.

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick share of a stunning "Sea Turtles" print which has just left our studio.

Artist Stephanie Douglas of .studio.gallery in Port Douglas has done an amazing job capturing every detail of these beautiful creatures. And of course Art Glass had to go into this one!!

Check out this and so much more on their instagram page and website seagallery.com.au

What a start to the day....

Hi Everyone,

A very happy client only picked this up less than 24 hours ago and sent me this photo this morning with it hanging beautifully on their wall.

On a recent trip to China, Andrew and Janelle couldn't resist the allure of this magnificent silk work depicting the Karst Mountains which are a series of spectacular limestone formations created over millions of years, most commonly seen in the southern parts of China.

And after checking out many of the available framing options decided on this classic Charcoal and silver moulding which suits the silkwork perfectly. And, Andrew decided to use for hanging, a simple to use system which not only gives extra strength and support to the large frame (It measured approx 2metres wide x 90cms high) but also ensures that it will stay forever straight.

Simply marvellous result. Thanks guys for coming to see us and allowing us to frame this special project for you.

Hi Everyone,

A very special item left a couple of days ago and is now hanging in a very special place. And mixed emotions with these ones as both beloved pets within the portrait have passed over the "Rainbow Bridge". "Zig-Zag" on the left and "Lizzy" on the right both dearly loved and sorely missed.

But in a beautiful tribute, owner Dave crafted a magnificent Huon Pine frame and we were asked to mount the commission portrait and fit Art Glass so as to protect and enhance the portrait within.

And, the artist (Tabitha Eades) deserves a mention as this piece has captured the spirit of these two of man's best friends perfectly, and with the beaut frame and hanging in a perfect position in the owners home ensures they will never be forgotten. May they rest in peace ❤️❤️

We have a secret to share....

Due to the fantastic support and increased activity over the last 12 months we have been quietly coming up with new and exciting ways to make our service to everyone even better. Sometimes, choosing framing options can be quite an overwhelming and stressful experience so, with this in mind we have created a brand new space for assisting clients with their selections.

It's an inviting space, quiet and relaxed and has extra space for new samples coming, as well as all the original range of options and we're very proud of how it's all come together.

So, a warm welcome awaits, whatever your framing project may be, we would be more than happy to assist you. Please give us a call and come see us and together we will ensure that your special project comes to life, and you can proudly hang it upon your wall.

Emerging Artist

Hi Everyone,

So back in January 2023 we had a visit from John Zoccolan, a lovely laid back local guy, working local in the same place for an impressive 40 years or so and he brought us a painting he had done of O'Dells Lake, just downstream from Lake Ada in Tasmania.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago and he's back, now retired and enjoying time painting, this time a retreat at Rocky Cape, with the iconic Stanley Nut in the background.

So, keep an eye on the name, and enjoy your new found freedom in retirement John - we look forward to framing many more.

And for info purposes - O'Dells Lake was framed with a rustic "over the edge" frame, and Rocky Cape in a beaut Tas Oak floating frame.

Hi Everyone,

Just listening to the rain falling on the roof of the framing studio, and filling the water tanks.

Which brings me to this recent project - a beautiful painting featuring a canola crop, a classic Aussie dwelling, a gum tree and yes a couple of water tanks. And got me thinking just how lucky we are in this great vast country of ours.

Australia 🇦🇺 - truly the lucky country!

And just for info purposes, the clients selected a gorgeous combo double matt, a classic timber and gold frame which really picked up the canola field and topped it all off with Art Glass which truly showcased this wonderful piece.

And almost forgot - we used # so once hanging will stay straight forever.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to share this amazing Earth Dragon cross stitch that left us recently. Meticulously crafted by and this follows on from a previous one posted previously but have added a pic to remind.

Double Matted, a stylish silver frame and of course Art Glass so you can see every single stitch.

And what an awesome piece to have on display. Great job Christie, and looking forward to the next one...

Hi Everyone,
What a crazy start to 2026 - been flat out framing for couple of local exhibitions as well as 2 back to back ones at the Long Gallery at Salamanca Arts Centre. Phew, I think we're getting back to the normal steady pace....

That said, we were fortunate enough to frame quite a few pieces for "Fragility" exhibition / competition which opens this Saturday 21st February at the Sheffield Art Gallery. And with 70+ entries its going to be quite a show.

And, best part is the winners are decided by public vote, so be sure to get along before 14th March when it closes, soak in all the amazing artworks and cast your vote.

Enjoy the show and best of luck to all the entries.
