Kawa claims another win today with a tough display at Werribee for Matt Cumani and Eoin Walsh. Eoin gave her an excellent ride, hugging the fence in the box seat throughout, before pealing off on the turn to gain clear running. She had to fight off the challengers in a close finish but she got her nose down on the line for her second career victory.

It was Kawa's second run at the mile this prep and she was able to settle closer to the speed this time after being caught in an unsuitable position last start at Echuca. Matt and his team have done an excellent job to get her back in the winner's stall today.

Kawa races in the Umanity Racing dark green and white silks and is raced in partnership with Rising Sun Syndications. Well done to the Umanity Racing team and to all of the connections involved.

Southern Crescent claimed her fourth win of this outstanding preparation today at Casterton with Melissa Julius in the saddle. Aaron Purcell continues to do an amazing job with this mare, only missing the placings once in her nine starts this time in.

She won second-up in a 0-56 and has continued to clear the bar each time it has been raised, claiming a Benchmark 70 race today.

Well done to Aaron and his team to keep her in this form and congratulations to her delighted ownership group.

Southern Crescent is from the first crop by Alabama Express and was a $30,000 Magic Millions Adelaide purchase by Rising Sun Syndicate. She has now won five races in total and over $170,000 in prizemoney as well as $60,000 in Vobis Vouchers.

Eismond opens her Australian account with a win at Stawell in very impressive fashion for local trainer Andrew Bobbin and jockey Jack Hill! We were expecting a positive showing at her first Australian start after some great feedback in her work leading up to the race, but she won with ease and there looks to be plenty more in store.

She is another winning Japanese import and races for a great group of people, some of which made the journey to Stawell and got to enjoy the win in person.

Eismond was a very consistent filly on the Japanese Racing Circuit but just never got that breakthrough win. That meant she was available to purchase and we wasted no time securing her to import to Australia. We selected her through our strict criteria we use before buying these Japanese horses and it is a process that continues to work well for us.

Another Metro win for the speed-demon Angel Ladder! She made it back-to-back wins at Eagle Farm with Tahlia Fenlon on board again for Ciaron Maher Racing. Tahlia is building a great rapport with the North Pacific filly.

It's the third win of her career and her earnings now go past $200,000. It has been a fruitful decision to take the three-year-old filly to Queensland so a big thanks goes to the Maher Racing team for having her going so well.

Angel Ladder shot the gates at Eagle Farm on Saturday and didn't see another horse during the race. She led from pillar to post over the 1000m in the QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap under Tahlia Fenlon.

It's proved a fruitful move from the Ciaron Maher team to send her to Queensland after her first-up placing at Sandown. She ran third at her next start in the Sunshine State and scored the second win of her career on Saturday. She's a filly that has always shown a lot of speed and she is very fast out of the gates, she's always in the spot.

Well done to the owners headed by Healthy Wood Company and the Maher Racing team. There are several suitable options for her in Queensland coming up so we will map out a plan going forward and she should be hard to beat when she steps out again.

We teamed up with Simon Zahra Racing on our final purchase at the Inglis Premier Sale for this beautiful Bruckner x Autumn Zest filly from Flinders Park Stud for $40,000.

She's got plenty of presence and class about her this filly. She's got a gorgeous head and really catches the eye when she moves. She has a very fluent action and has plenty of muscle and substance. We delighted to be racing her with Simon and his team which is a new stable for Rising Sun Syndicate.

She's from the first crop of Bruckner who is a son of Snitzel. He was a Group 3 winner at three in the Spring before running second to Home Affairs in the Group 1 Coolmore Stakes. He finished ahead of Artorius, Overpass, Ingratiating, Shaquero, Extreme Warrior, Paulele, Sword Of State and In The Congo in a stacked edition of the 'stallion-making race'.

The mare Autumn Zest can produce a racehorse. She's the dam of five winners, four of them being multiple winners. She's a daughter of 2000 Guineas winner King's Best and the second dam on the page was a Widden Stakes winning juvenile.

WANTED! Three Japanese horseman wanted for daylight robbery.

We've stolen a yearling on Day 3 of the Inglis Premier Sale. With Aaron Purcell, we secured the Shalaa x Lupino Lass for just $10,000 from Widden Stud.

Shalaa is a consistent stallion based in Victoria, meaning this c**t is eligible for the lucrative VOBIS races. Together with the Inglis Race Series, there are so many opportunities to earn good prizemoney with such a little outlay.

Lupino Lass was a winner from just her six starts. She was a speedy filly winning over 1175m. She's by Not A Single Doubt meaning this c**t is bred on the same cross as Shalaa's Group 3 Pago Pago, Group 3 Breeders' Plate and Listed Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Shaquero.

Our first purchase at our home sale, Inglis Premier. We’ve secured a Dundeel C**t with Mr Crocodile Dundeel himself, Matt Cumani. He was secured for just $80,000. He’s out of a 2yo winning I Am Invincible mare who is a daughter of a Stakes winning 2yo herself. The second dam Shaaheq won the VRX Group 3 Breeders Stakes and ran second in a Blue Diamond.

Matt has had a lot of success with the breed and we think this c**t will be in the sharper mould of horses by the sire.

He’s a strong c**t and has a lovely walk. He comes off a great farm in Grenville Stud who bred him and presented him at the sales beautifully.

Kawa has been building steadily this campaign with a fifth on resumption at Wangaratta and a third placing at Horsham on Tuesday.

She was a winner at Ballarat on the Synthetic last prep over seven furlongs and her first two starts this prep have been over the same distance.

Matt is still of the belief she is more of a miler so with another Australian campaign and spell under her belt, we’re looking forward to seeing her at the mile, perhaps at her next start.
