🌟 KUULANG’S FIRST CARNIVAL FOR 2026 🌟

What a way to start our 2026 carnival campaign at the Wyong Koori Carnival! 🖤💛❤️

Today was about so much more than results. The best part was seeing just how tight this group already is. Three teams, different age groups, but one Kuulang, all on the same page.

Our little bubs stepped up and played a couple of age groups above themselves and showed an incredible amount of heart and resilience. They kept having a crack, backed each other and did Kuulang proud all day.

Our 12s picked up a couple of wins and started their campaign with a really solid foundation. There’s plenty to build on, and today was a great first step for this group.

Our 15s had an incredible day, going undefeated with 5 wins and a draw to take out the 2026 Wyong Koori Carnival! 🏆

But as proud as we are of that result, the best thing about what we’re building is seeing everyone genuinely celebrate each other. Players supporting the other teams, families getting behind every game and everyone sharing in each other’s success.

Because at Kuulang, when one of us wins, we all win.

Massive congratulations to every player, coach, manager and family who was part of today. A great carnival, a great first step for 2026 and something pretty special starting to come together.

✨ Our New Look. Same Heart. ✨

Today we're proud to officially reveal the new Kuulang Netball logo.

Every part of the logo tells a story. The colours represent our identity, and at its heart sits the artwork of a star within a circle, a symbol of the connection we all share through community, culture and netball.

As we continue to grow, this logo reflects where we've come from and where we're heading together.

Don't forget that our 2026 Expressions of Interest are still open! We're looking for players, coaches, managers and sponsors to join the Kuulang family.

🖤💛❤️ IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN! ❤️💛🖤

The countdown is on to the 2026 Charlestown Koori Netball Tournament, and Kuulang Netball is ready to return bigger and stronger than ever!

This year we're planning to enter:
🏐 Under 10s (NEW for 2026!)
🏐 Under 11–12s
🏐 Under 13–15s

We're excited to have Coach Steve back on board, and we're thrilled to welcome Ash Urpeth, who has signed on to coach one of our teams!

To make this happen, we're still looking for: 🖤 1 Coach 💛 Team Managers ❤️ Players 🖤 Sponsors to help support our young athletes.

Last year, Kuulang had an incredible representation at the tournament, and this year we'd love to build on that. If numbers allow, we'll even look to enter multiple teams in an age group, giving more young people the opportunity to represent their community with pride.

Whether you're an experienced player, trying netball for the first time, keen to coach, help manage a team or support as a sponsor, we'd love to hear from you.

🖤💛❤️ A Proud Moment for Kuulang ❤️💛🖤

Seeing Coach Steve featured by Netball NSW is something our whole Kuulang family can be proud of.

This week, Steve joined First Nations coaches from across NSW at the Koori Coaches Clinic during NAIDOC Week, coming together to learn, connect and continue building stronger pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through netball.

The day was about much more than coaching. It was about culture, community, connection and creating opportunities for the next generation of deadly athletes and coaches.

Everything we do at Kuulang is built around giving our young people opportunities to be proud of who they are, embrace their culture and believe in what they can achieve. Seeing our coach learning alongside other passionate First Nations coaches and being recognised by Netball NSW is something we're incredibly proud of.

Congratulations to Netball NSW and everyone involved in delivering such a meaningful program. We can't wait to bring everything learned back to our Kuulang athletes.
