NAIDOC DAY TOUCH FOOTBALL DAY 🏉

We're currently seeking players to join teams for our upcoming NAIDOC Day Touch Football!

📅 Wednesday 8th July 2026
📍 Singleton Showground
⏰ 10:00am – 2:00pm

This event is all about bringing our community together to celebrate culture, connection and sport. While our Wonnarua Wayila sides will be taking the field, opposition teams do not need to be Indigenous to participate.

We welcome players of all backgrounds and skill levels in the following age groups:
🏉 U11🏉 U13🏉 U15🏉 Opens

• Mixed teams
• Minimum of 2 girls per team
• 12 players per team

Whether you're an experienced player or just keen to get involved, we'd love to hear from you!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported Wonnarua Wayila at the Singleton Golf Club meat raffles throughout May.

We are incredibly grateful to our players, families, volunteers, community members, and everyone who purchased tickets. Your support helps create opportunities for our young people to participate in sport, strengthen cultural connections, and proudly represent our community.

🥩 We will be back at Singleton Golf Club every Friday in August!

Most of the merch has arrived and is ready for collection. Unfortunately, we are still waiting on the caps and some polos to be delivered.

I have a collection list, so if your order has arrived, you can collect it from Cook Park, Singleton tomorrow between:

WONNARUA WAYILA – KOORI KNOCKOUT 2026

We are proud to introduce our U15 Boys Coach
John Douglas.

John has experience working with both junior and senior teams and is passionate about developing young players. He is also actively involved in running footy clinics and helping support the next generation through rugby league and community connection.

Our U15 Boys team is currently full and we thank everyone who has shown interest and support for our journey so far.
