The Singleton Gymkhana Club is a non-profit organisational established in 1991 as a training ground for horse and riders, to form friendships, to have fun and to learn sportsmanship. This allows us to be a very family orientated Club where all members of the family: children, parents and even grandparents can join in and compete. Our Club tries to keep membership and entry fees to a minimum to all
ow family involvement. The Club runs a Gymkhana day once a month (usually 3rd Sunday of the month unless otherwise stated) along with training days and Trail Rides. Our Gymkhana days are broken up into ring events such as riding and hack classes in the morning, we break for lunch and continue on with a range of sporting and novelty events for the afternoon. If my helmet is approved by the EA is it approved to ride at Singleton Gymkhana? No, the only helmets covered by our insurance company are those labeled with a AS3838 sticker. This is non-negotiable so please ensure you have the required helmet or you will NOT be able to ride on the day. You are welcome to ride in any disciplines ie, stock horse, western, english...All riders must wear approved riding boots. No joggers or work boots are permitted. All gear should be in good order and fit for purpose for the rider and the horse. All riders at the Gymkhana MUST wear an approved AS3838 helmet. All rules can be found on our website. Is there day membership available? Yes there is $15 for the day+ entries, however points accumulated on the day won't total to end of year point scores
My horse is young or green does the day cater for this? Absolutely our day is very casual. We do offer consolation classes and in the seniors sporting events there is a Novice senior B class which is walk, trot and lope canter at the fastest. Its a great place to gain your confidence as a novice rider and/or expose young./green horses to the competition arena.
