After starting out in our development program, these members have officially joined as full members, and celebrated with their very first full round of 18 holes together.

Say hello to Gourmet Greens at Wakehurst, our new food partner now open in the Clubhouse 🍽️

Fresh, seasonal, locally sourced, and menus built for everything from a quick coffee before your round to a long lunch after it.

Trading hours are as follows:
👉🏽 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 8.30 am – 4.00 pm
👉🏽 Wednesday: 6.30 am – 5.00 pm
👉🏽 Friday: 8.30 am – Friday Night Dinner
👉🏽 Saturday and Sunday: 8.30 am – 5.00 pm

Friday night dinners commence Friday 7 August. This is a great opportunity to bring family and friends to the Club! We would love to see the room full for a warm welcome to our caterers! To book, please contact Lyn directly on 0416 130 488.

Hole 6

A short par 4 that looks straightforward until you're on the tee. O.O.B all down the right, trees and a creek down the left, not much margin either side.

Our tip? Favour the left of the fairway off the tee. The green sits above the surrounding ground with a deep bunker guarding the left, so anything short or right gets punished on the approach.

Play it safe off the tee and let the scorecard do the talking.

How good was this! We had over 120 golfers join us last Thursday for the annual Christmas in July Open Golf Day, and it’s safe to say it was a hoot 🎄⛳️

What's on at the club this week 👇

Big news first: our new caterers kick off this Wednesday with a limited menu to start. More to come as they settle in, so bear with us while we ease into it!

Here's the rest of the week:

🀄 Monday & Thursday – Mahjong, solo card games and backgammon, eastern side of the clubhouse, mid morning to afternoon
🤝 Wednesday – BNI networking, clubhouse, 6:15am to 8:30am
🍕 Friday – Happy hour in the clubhouse, 4:30pm to 6:30pm

And don't forget the weekly Bettsbutchery Bettsbutchery meat tray raffle, drawn at 5:30pm Friday, with all proceeds going to Legacy. Come along, enjoy the afternoon and support a great cause.

Hole 5 🏌️

A short par 3 that looks harmless until you're standing over the ball. Long but narrow green, a hazard and bunker guarding the front, plus bunkers either side just to keep you honest. There's nowhere to hide on this one.

Our tip? Aim for the right third of the green. It slopes front to back and right to left, so landing in the wrong spot means a tricky read on your putt.

Dust off your Santa hats and join us for a fantastic Christmas in July Golf Day at Wakehurst Golf Club!🎄🎅🏽

Invite your affiliated club mates and enter a 4 Person Team Drop-Out Ambrose for what promises to be a fun-filled day of golf, great food, and plenty of festive spirit.

Thursday, 23 July – Christmas in July Golf Day. Approximately 120 players enjoying an 8am shotgun start, followed by a festive luncheon. Optional: get into the festive spirit and dress in a Christmas theme if you wish, Christmas hats, festive shirts and fun accessories are all welcome! Friday – Host day for Bronze IV Pennants

Friday – Happy Hour, 4:30pm–6:30pm. Don't forget our weekly Bettsbutchery Bettsbutchery Meat Tray Raffle, with all proceeds going towards our major charity, Legacy. We'd love to see everyone come along, enjoy a great afternoon and support a wonderful cause.
