Modbury Jets SC Modbury SC the premier soccer club in Adelaide's North Eastern suburbs. Modbury Soccer Club has a proud footballing history dating back to 1964.

A not-for-profit community sporting club, Modbury SC is affiliated with FIFA through its membership of the FootballSouth Australia (FSA) and the national peak body, Football Australia. Over the last 50 years, Modbury Soccer Club has grown from it’s original ‘working men’s’ foundation to one that has demonstrated a long term commitment to developing and nurturing local footballing talent in Adelaid

e’s north-east, while encouraging children, youth and adults to adopt a healthier lifestyle and greater physical activity participating in an affordable sporting program. The Club caters for all age groups and fields teams in competitions conducted by the FSA in both Junior and Senior Leagues. Modbury Soccer Club is located within the City of Tea Tree Gully, at its Smith Partners Stadium clubrooms at Ridgehaven, while its junior teams train and play at Burragah Reserve, Modbury North. It is arguably the single most high profile club representing the City in sporting competitions and codes.

MATCH RESULTS Round 17

A Fathers Day that pretty much had everything.
Our young guns were outclassed but fought hard in the B's and C's against very good Westy outfits. In C's a nice goal by youngster Theo Venizelos, Craig Cathcart came out of retirement to help with numbers, Lachie Coull was great in goals then came off the bench to score for the B's.

The A's game had everything. Modbury lead 4 times but Para Hills West Soccer Club as champions came back every time making it 3-3 in Injury time before a Beau Ieraci header from a pin point cross from Zacharie Ammerlaan won it in the 93rd minute.
What made this more remarkable was Modbury's last 3 goals were scored with 10 men, which included a fantastic penalty save by John Briddon.
It was a fantastic team performance highlighted by another hatrick to Jakey Atkinson. This gives the boys 3 wins in a row with 1 to play.

We once again congratulate Para Hills West Soccer Club as champions and thank them for hanging around for drink.

After a valiant season, our reserves bow out at the Semis - take a bow lads, you still played a great season. A lot of the boys contributing to our Senior teams promotion and grand final ticket. Also, a lot of our lads from our Juniors stamping their tickets in senior football. A big year of positives for our club- Well done lads!
