COACHING POSITIONS OPEN | SEASON 2027

Hope Valley Football Club is now accepting applications for Senior Football Coaching positions across our Men’s and Women’s programs.

We are on the rise, and we want people to continue that rise.

We are seeking passionate, driven leaders to guide our squads, foster player development, and drive a strong club culture across the following grades:

Men’s Program

Senior A Grade Coach

Senior B Grade (Reserves) Coach

Senior C Grade Coach

Women’s Program

Senior A Grade Coach

Senior B Grade Coach

Key Qualities We Are Looking For:

Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

Commitment to developing players of all skill levels

Ability to collaborate with assistant coaches and football operations

Relevant AFL coaching accreditation (or willingness to obtain)

$150 per head includes 4 hour drinks package and 3 course meal, with alternate drop for entree and main.

our season came to a close yesterday and we’d like to take the opportunity to thank our coaches, trainers, support staff, volunteers and everyone in between who allows our players to play each week 🙏

Congratulations to Will Riddle on reaching 100 games in tomorrow’s Elimination Final against CBC 🥹

Will returned to the club in 2020 after spending a few seasons away following his junior days at Hope Valley, coming back to play alongside his brother in a season where we made the Grand Final.

Since returning, Will has spent the majority of his time dominating in the ruck. Paired with a strong aerial game, he has consistently proven himself as one of the best ruckmen across the divisions each season.

A two-time HV Club Champion, taking home the award in 2023 and 2025, Will has never placed outside the Top 5 on Best & Fairest night, a testament to just how important he has become to our footy club.

Big W***y has grown into leadership roles over the past couple of seasons, while also spending time out at junior trainings across the years to pass on his knowledge. He’s also made sure plenty of young players coming into A Grade receive the traditional dance initiation before their debut

The club is extremely lucky to have Will, both on and off the field, and we’re incredibly proud that he is a Hope Valley man.
