Although Sunday didn’t go our way for the Premier side, the group showed tremendous grit, determination, and most importantly enjoyed the moment together.

The club is incredibly proud of the effort you all put in and the way you represented the Coutas. We look forward to seeing what next season has in store for this talented group.

Congratulations to our midweek Division 2 Team! They won their premiership 48 to 43 against Ocean Grove on Tuesday.

Our Queenscliff Coutas Premier side is through to the GBR Premier League Grand Final this weekend! What an outstanding effort from the boys to earn their spot on the biggest stage.

⚔️ Opposition: Ocean Grove

This is a massive challenge against the defending champs but we back our crew every day of the week.

Let’s get a sea of Couta supporters down there in red, white and blue and create some serious noise as the boys chase Premier League glory.

Congratulations to our newest Ladies Club Champion, Jenny McGrath!

A fantastic final played in great spirit with both ladies playing a high standard of bowls in a tightly contested match.

Jenny now goes on to represent Queenscliff at the GBR Champion of Champions. We wish her all the very best!

Commiserations to runner up Angela McDonagh on a terrific performance throughout the championship.

Congratulations to our newest Men’s Club Champion Riley Cameron!

Riley got off to a hot start and bowled fantastically throughout the entire match.

He will now go onto represent Queenscliff at the GBR Champion of Champions! good luck kid!!

Tim Monahans Funeral Details.

We would love for everyone to join us in celebrating Tim’s life on Monday the 9th of February at 10:30am.
The service will be held at St Aloysius 34 Stevens St Queenscliff, followed by a burial at Point Lonsdale cemetery.
Then back to the Queenscliff Bowling Club to swap a few stories and have a few beers for Dad.

If all Queenscliff Bowling Club members could wear there club pennant shirts to form a guard of honour that would be greatly appreciated.

~Tim Monahan~

Yesterday we said goodbye to one of the true pillars of the Queenscliff Bowling Club, life member and club legend Tim Monahan.

Tim was the very definition of what it means to serve a club. His passion, dedication and unwavering integrity shaped Queenscliff Bowls for generations. He gave tirelessly, his time, energy and heart, always placing the wellbeing, culture and future of the club ahead of himself. Whether on the green, behind the scenes or offering quiet guidance, Tim’s influence was felt everywhere and by everyone.

More than his service, Tim embodied the spirit of the club. He set the standard for sportsmanship, respect and loyalty, and his presence made Queenscliff Bowling Club a better place. The club we are today is, in no small part, because of him.

On behalf of the Queenscliff Bowling Club, we extend our deepest condolences to the Monahan family and Tim’s close friends. We share in your loss and thank you for allowing us to be part of Tim’s journey.

Tim will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the values he instilled, the people he inspired and the club he helped build.

Rest easy Tim ❤️🐟

A massive congratulations to all bowlers who represented the GBR over the weekend at the 2026 Region Sides in Ballarat.

Four of our Coutas contested the Gold Tier Men’s Final this morning and, while they narrowly missed out, finished an outstanding 2nd place. A fantastic achievement for the region and for each of you involved.

Well done all! you should be very proud!
