🥍✨ BIG NEWS FOR WYNDHAM LACROSSE! ✨🥍

Lacrosse Australia partnered with the Callum & Jake Robinson Foundation and their incredible Goals for Greatness program! 💛

And Wyndham was successful in or our bid to revive a set of unique golden goals and today collected thier new set goals for the future of lacrosse at our ever growing club.

A limited number of elite, one-of-a-kind gold goals were gifted to selected clubs across Australia — bringing a powerful symbol of ambition, opportunity, and the future of our game.

🏆 The mission is simple: Build the future of lacrosse worldwide.

Through Goals for Greatness, the CJR Foundation is: 🔥 Creating more places for communities to play
🔥 Supporting and mentoring coaches
🔥 Building pathways for young athletes to grow, compete and thrive

President's MEGA Weekly Wrap-up:

Under 12 Boys:
Wyndham 19 - Caulfield/Chadstone 10
Seriously, this was the best game the U12s have played all season! Everyone played their hearts out on both ends of the field. Awesome job, let's keep it up!

Under 12 Girls:
Wyndham 13 - Eltham 16
Our U12 Girls were on fire early, Grace was amazing in goals and all the girls played great. But Eltham came back strong in the last quarter and just edged us out for the win.

U12s Boys are now 4th, and the U12s Girls dropped to 4th on their ladders.

U10s State Lightning Carnival

It was awesome to see Wyndham with two super competitive teams! Purple (Girls) won their group, and Grey (Boys) finished 2nd in theirs. That meant a Purple vs. Grey Semi-Final, with Purple moving on to our first Grand Final for Wyndham!

The undefeated Purple Warriors 💜 took the game into a "controversial" overtime. And they just barely missed out in overtime by the buzzer.

I just wanted to take a moment to tell all our players and families how incredibly proud we all are of how far the club has come. Let's go, Warriors!

Tonight we celebrated David’s 70th birthday after training. David helped start the Wyndham Warriors Lacrosse Club back in 2015 where he took on president and tireless efforts to help get the club to where it is now with many volunteers he has recruited over the years. Although he has passed the president torch on his efforts don’t go unnoticed. Thank you to everyone for helping make his day special.

Hey Warrior Lax families! 👋 Hope your long weekend was fantastic! Just a quick heads-up about a huge week of lacrosse coming up. Wednesday and Thursday night training is on as usual from 6-7 PM. This Saturday, our U12s face off against Caulfield/Chadstone at 8:45 AM at our home ground. But Sunday is EPIC! Our U12 Girls play Eltham at 8:30 AM, and at 10 AM, it's the 1st U10s State Lightning Carnival where our kids are vying for an inaugural U10s pennant! All Sunday games are at Altona's PJ Lynch Reserve as part of "Melli's Round," showcasing all grades of women's lacrosse throughout the day. You can also catch our Gee sisters playing for Newport Gold's U14 girls at 9:45 AM! 🤩🥍

Hi Warriors. We will have a couple of fun training days tonight and Thursday 6pm at Dunnings Reserve. There’s no games this weekend so enjoy the break. President's Weekly Wrap-up:

Under 12 Boys:
Camberwell Raiders 20 - Wyndham 14
This was a difficult match against equally placed Raiders. Our U12s showed what they can do, even when some were playing out of position. Felicity lead the goal count followed closely by the Gee Girls. Great to see Sebastian, Michael, Emilio hit the score board aswell.

Under 12 Girls:
Newport B 11 - Wyndham 22
Our U12 Girls put in another fantastic performance, with Chloe 6 & Felicity 8 blazing away at goals, and our Under 10s Mika and Erin scoring their 1st U12s goal! But huge shout out to our smallest player with the bravest attitude being Luke jumping into goals at the last minute 💪

U12s Boys drop to 5th with plenty to go in the season. And the U12s Girls move up to 3rd on their ladders.

Enjoy the upcoming long weekend break from lacrosse, training will still be on a usual... Let's go Warriors.
