⚾️✈️ FIRST WINS, FIRST RUNS & AVIATORS MILESTONES! 💙

What a weekend for the Point Cook Aviators!

💙 OUR GIRLS HAVE THEIR FIRST WIN! 🎉

A massive congratulations to our SL70 All-Girls team, who celebrated their first-ever victory, defeating Williamstown 19–11!

After making club history by taking the field as our first all-girls team, they’ve now added another milestone to the books. An incredible effort from the girls, coaches and everyone supporting them! 💪⚾️

✈️ AND ANOTHER FIRST FOR THE MASTERS!

A huge congratulations to Doug, who crossed home plate to score the first-ever run for the Aviators Masters team! 🏃‍♂️⚾️

The Masters might still be searching for their first win, but Doug has made sure they’ve already got a moment for the history books! Hopefully the legs have recovered! 😂

👏 A big thank you to all our players, coaches, volunteers and supporters across the club. Not every result went our way this weekend, but there’s plenty to celebrate as our season gets underway.

⚾️✈️ THE AVIATORS MASTERS HAVE TAKEN FLIGHT! ✈️⚾️

The knees are questionable, the hamstrings are nervous, and the recovery time might be longer than the game itself… but the Aviators Masters are officially on the diamond! 💙⚾️

Last night saw our club’s first-ever Masters team take to the field, proving that you’re never too old to play baseball… although your body might have a different opinion this morning! 😂

There were big swings, plenty of laughs, some ambitious running between bases, and possibly a few muscles rediscovered along the way.

But most importantly, there was a great bunch of blokes enjoying baseball, having a laugh and representing the Point Cook Aviators.

A massive congratulations to our Masters team on their first game! 👏

The Aviators aren’t getting older… we’re just gaining more flight hours! ✈️

⚾💙 HISTORY MADE AT THE AVIATORS! 💙⚾

What a fantastic moment for the Point Cook Aviators Baseball Club and for girls’ baseball! 🥎

This weekend marked a historic milestone as our club’s first-ever all-girls team took to the field, celebrating not only a new chapter for the Aviators but also the beginning of an all-girls baseball competition! 🙌

Our SL70 girls put in an incredible effort against the Doncaster Dragons. While the result didn’t go our way, it was an excellent game filled with determination, teamwork and plenty of enthusiasm.

But this weekend was about so much more than the final score.

Seeing both teams come together for a group photo after the game was a wonderful reminder of what community sport is all about. Two teams making history together, creating opportunities and helping build the future of girls’ and women’s baseball in Australia. 💙

A huge congratulations to all the players, coaches, families and volunteers who have helped make this milestone possible. And a special thank you to the Doncaster Dragons for being part of such a memorable occasion.

The result might not have been a win on the scoreboard, but it was certainly a win for girls’ and women’s baseball! ⚾👏

This is just the beginning. Let’s go, Aviators! ✈️💙

⚾️ THE WAIT IS OVER. NOW SLOW IT DOWN. ✈️

After months waiting for summer baseball to return, Round 1 can disappear in a heartbeat.

So we slowed it down.

The wind-up.
The release.
The swing.
The impact.
The dust rising from the diamond.

The first moments of a new season — captured one frame at a time. 🎥

🔥 State 1 opened their summer with a WIN
⚾ State 2 didn’t get the result, but their season is only just beginning.

Looking forward to the rest of our teams starting their seasons.

One club. One summer ahead.

Baseball is back. Take it slow. ⚾️✈️
