⚠️ IMPORTANT SNAKE WARNING ⚠️

A brown snake has been sighted in the garden area near the retaining wall along the path from the bottom car park to Court 2.

The snake catcher attended but was unable to locate the snake. They advised that, following recent rain, snakes are becoming more active as they emerge to warm themselves. Retaining walls provide ideal shelter and are a common place for snakes to live and hide.

🚨 THIS AREA IS OF PARTICULAR CONCERN AS MANY CHILDREN PLAY IN THIS GARDEN SPACE REGULARLY. 🚨

Brown snakes are highly venomous and can be extremely dangerous. Please ensure children stay out of the garden beds and away from the retaining wall area.

Please remind all players, siblings and visitors:
• Stay on designated paths.
• Do not play in the garden beds.
• Never approach, disturb or attempt to catch a snake.
• If a snake is sighted, move away immediately and notify a an official.

Parents and carers are asked to supervise children closely, especially around the garden area and retaining wall.

A big thank you to the parent who promptly alerted us to the sighting, allowing us to take immediate action and arrange for a snake catcher to attend.

Please remain vigilant and help keep our children and community safe

🏐🧡🧡🧡

A huge congratulations to all of our PUNA junior teams who participated in the WDNA Carnival today! Every team represented PUNA with pride and played exceptionally well throughout the day.

A special mention to our U13’s Orange team who came away as Runners Up — an outstanding achievement! 👏🥈

Despite one short shower, the weather held up and it was fantastic to see the progression, teamwork and determination from all teams across the day. The growth and development shown by our athletes was something to be proud of.

We would also like to extend a big thank you to our PUNA umpires who represented our association so professionally and maintained such a high standard throughout the carnival. Your dedication and commitment to the game does not go unnoticed.

Well done everyone! 🧡🏐🧡
