FRIENDLY SUPERMATCH INTEREST – CSI SOUTHPORT | 14 NOVEMBER 🔥

PowerHouse has been approached about putting on another armwrestling showcase demonstration at CSI Southport roof top Bike Show💪🏍️

Just to be clear — we strongly encourage every athlete who can compete at Nationals to get there and support Nationals. This event is not an alternative to Nationals.

Because it’s the weekend before Nationals, we’re mainly looking for pullers who aren’t competing, can’t make Nationals, or won’t be attending but would still be keen for a fun friendly supermatch.

🏍️ Plenty of cool bikes for the bike fans
💪 Great chance to promote armwrestling to a new crowd
💰 Cash/coupons for the winners

At this stage we’re simply gauging interest before confirming with the organiser.

Great segment on Sunrise this morning to get everyone pumped for the QLD Armwrestling Titles tomorrow. Big thanks to Torben, Reuben, Matty, and Pona for adding some muscle to the segment on a busy Friday morning.

Competitors please show your registrations at Gate #2 between 9 and 11am tomorrow morning for entry into the Ekka.

Just a reminder that there will be no training on Saturday, 1 August as we're all taking the weekend to rest, recover, and recharge before the Ekka State Championships.

Recovery is part of preparation, so enjoy the weekend with your families, fuel up, and come into comp week fresh and ready to perform.

This is the mother of all State Championships, and it's time for the PowerHouse crew to show what we've been building. Let's bring the energy, support one another, and make it a day to remember.

A huge thank you to CSi Club Southport for giving PowerHouse Armwrestling the opportunity to showcase our sport to the community. The support, atmosphere, and exposure for armwrestling was amazing.

Today, the PowerHouse Armwrestling family joins the wider armwrestling community in mourning the loss of Andrew Lee.

Taken from us at just 28 years old, Andrew's passing is a heartbreaking loss to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Andrew was more than an incredible armwrestler—he was a genuinely kind, humble, and respected member of our community. He competed with heart, showed sportsmanship on and off the table, and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His passion for the sport and the friendships he built will never be forgotten.

On behalf of everyone at PowerHouse Armwrestling Club, we extend our deepest condolences to Andrew's family, friends, teammates, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest easy, Andrew. Thank you for everything you gave to our sport and the people within it. Your legacy will continue to inspire generations of armwrestlers.
