Working with my clients has been very rewarding over the years I love the smiles and gratitude I receive for the hard work all my clients do each and every session ππͺπ¦΅
One particular client has been thru such an enormous emotional and physical roll coaster over the past few years but yet has given her all at every session and it shows π―π a little write up about her journey πππ
June 2026
My journey over the last few years has been one of the biggest challenges of my life.
In 2023, I started experiencing ongoing neck and mid-back pain. What began as an ache gradually became debilitating, affecting my daily life and leading to countless scans, specialist appointments, and pain management treatments. In 2024, I underwent injections into my thoracic spine, which provided temporary relief, but my neck pain continued to worsen.
In November 2024, I underwent major cervical surgery, including a fusion and disc replacement at C5/6 and C6/7. Before surgery, I reached out to Bev because I knew I wanted the best possible rehabilitation. Six weeks later, I began Pilates with her, and it quickly became a huge part of my recovery. Through Bev's guidance, encouragement, and belief in me, I gradually rebuilt my strength and confidence, eventually reaching my strongest and fittest point.
Unfortunately, by late 2025, my thoracic pain had returned, and after exploring my options, I underwent a second major surgery in February 2026 β a T4βT9 fusion.
Recovery has been physically and emotionally challenging, but once again Bev has been by my side every step of the way. From preparing me before surgery to guiding me back into Pilates afterwards, she has helped me rebuild not only my strength but also my confidence.
Today, at four months post-op, my surgeon is thrilled with my progress and has cleared me to return to full-body Pilates. I truly believe I wouldn't be where I am today without Bev. She has been more than an instructor β she has been a constant source of support, encouragement, and strength on some of my hardest days.
I will always be grateful for the part she has played in my recovery journey. π
