WHAT. A. WEEK. đŸ’«đŸ™ŒđŸ»
We are thrilled to receive two incredible awards earlier this week at the National Cricket Awards Ceremony. Our little place that we call home - the Kalamunda Cricket Club - was awarded:

🏆 Best Community Engagement Club in Australia
&
🏆 National Highly Commended Community Cricket Club of the Year

An extraordinary achievement for our club, our members and our community.

To all our members and families, sponsors, volunteers, past players and fellow Kostera user groups - none of this would be possible without you.
Thank you.

These awards are off the back of the the recent WACA State Awards Night, where we were honoured with the awards for Best Community Engagement and the prestigious title of Community Club of the Year.

Swipe to read a little more about these awards and what they represent for our club.

The investment of your time, energy and passion into this club has had a profound impact on the success and culture of KCC. We encourage everyone to celebrate this achievement proudly and share the good news, because every one of you has played a part in helping make KCC one of the very best community cricket clubs in Australia.

Stay tuned for our upcoming celebration event!
Details will be released as soon as possible.

Thank you everyone.
From your very proud President,
Kent Millington

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums who always come to bat for us!
We hope today’s love and attention puts you in a happy spin and leaves you completely bowled over. Here’s hoping your Mother’s Day is a real hit! 💖
And to all the Dads who were stumped on what to get and had to run out for a last-minute gift
your life might feel over, but there’s always next innings. 😉
On a serious note though
thinking of those who are missing their mums today 💓

And just like that the 25/26 cricket season is officially in the books! After a cracking End of Season Awards Night at the Pickering Brook Sporting Club, we’re signing off with full hearts and plenty to celebrate.

A massive thank you to our committee and helpers for putting together a fantastic evening.

We not only got to acknowledge some incredible individual performances, but we also celebrated our premiership heroes — B Grade and One Day 2. What a season from those sides, delivering when it mattered and bringing home the chocolates.

To everyone in the KCC Community— players, volunteers, supporters, life members and families — thank you. Enjoy the off‑season, rest up, and we’ll see you back next season ready to go again.

Some photos from the Juniors wind up last month (better late than never! đŸ€Ș). It was a fantastic night celebrating our young players.
Congrats to Dexter for winning Junior Club person of the season closely followed by the runner up Hamish. Outstanding by those two young guys.
A huge thanks to Nat for organising and for being such a fantastic Junior Coordinator this year. The season would not have run as smooth without her and so we have already signed her up for next year đŸ’ȘđŸ»
Also thank you to all our coaches, team managers and parents - our team of volunteers are incredible and we couldn’t do it without you!
