★ The course is open every day, except Christmas day.
★ Bookings are only required for weekends and public holidays, and for large groups or corporate days.
★ Clubs are available for hire to go either on the course or to the driving range.

Please join us in welcoming Cerys, our new Senior Food and Beverage Officer at Whaleback, where she'll be overseeing service at both Tales Bar & Eats and The Pod Driving Range.

Cerys is, at heart, a people person. She thrives in fast-paced environments, values great teamwork, and genuinely loves building connections with those around her. Her experience spans cafes, breweries, weddings, and the not-for-profit sector, bringing a well-rounded and grounded perspective to everything she does.

When she's not busy making things run smoothly at Tales, you'll find her hiking, swimming at the beach, out on the water, or enjoying a camping trip.

Whaleback is proud to host the 2026 Blind Golf WA Open and the WA Blind & Inclusion Golf event.

The WA Open teed off on Monday 7 September, with the WA Blind & Inclusion event following on 10 and 11 September.

Players have travelled from right across the country to celebrate the challenge and pure joy that golf brings to everyone who plays it!

Congratulations to Ron De Groot and Graham King, who each aced the par three 18th hole on back-to-back days.

Ron kicked things off on Sunday 23 August draining a perfect shot with his 7 iron, followed by Graham on Monday matching that magic with a 6 iron.

Well done, gentlemen. Now there's a couple of legendary golf stories* to share for years to come! 🏌️⛳

Trackman Update

We're currently experiencing a technical issue with the Trackman server, which has temporarily limited access to courses and competitions on the interactive screens. Games and Practice modes remain fully available in the meantime.

We're actively working with Trackman to get a new server installed and everything back up and running as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The Tales crew are on the move!

We're packing up the food truck and popping up at the servery window at The Pod Driving Range.

The food truck closes at 1pm on Monday 31 August and the servery window will be open from Tuesday morning.

Swing by the window and keep the good vibes and the good food rolling!
