After a hard-fought Semi Final, our Senior League team will now take the field one last time — playing for third place in the tournament against Melbourne Rangers.

Just an update on Flynn

He has broken his nose in 2 places, and can't play until he sees a specialist on Friday.

He is doing fine not in any major pain just a little discomfort. He is really disappointed that he can't play, but he will still be at the games supporting his team mates.....

The helmet that saved him from major damage or the helmet that gave him to much confidence not to get out of the way of the ball..... (Just to note the fast pitch that was thrown and hit Flynn wasn't actually travelling that fast or hard, this was all just an freak accident and bad luck.)

A great first game.....

Flynn's team started the tournament off well. Winning the first 3 games.....

Flynn started as catcher in the first game and then pitched in the second game.

Today was game three and Flynn started on the bench, to come into the game in the top of the 5th inning (final inning of the game) to bat. Only to get hit in the head with a pitched ball breaking his nose (hit the helmet first).

Now we are sat in urgent care waiting to be checked out....

Fingerscrossed he will be cleared to keep on playing out the remainder of the tournament.
