BMX RACING STATE SERIES ROUND - INFO FOR NEW RIDERS
There are 8 events per year
Most are in metro area and there are usually 2 country rounds
Events can attract up to 550 riders
Riders who compete at most of these events, 6 out of 8 including the required Country rounds will qualify for an overall ranking for the entire series and receive an award at the end of the year

You can also do just one or more rounds - that won’t qualify for series awards
Transponders:
You must have a transponder to be scored at events
(exception Sprockets and Mini Wheelers )
Entries :
Enter online on ENTRYBOSS- closes Monday before the event
No entries on the day
Event info is posted on WEST BMX on Facebook
Results and Scoring :
For results and moto draws during the event you can find them on SQORZ
All full results after the event will be available on the SQORZ website
Awards on the day:
- Mini Wheelers and Sprockets will be presented with a participation award at each event
- Superclass will receive money prize . (50/50 male/female split)
- Junior Superclass will receive money prize -( 50/50 split )
- Masters will receive prize money
Overall end of Series Awards will be presented at an Awards Ceremony at the end of the year for qualifying riders:
Challenge –Trophy award plus a plate ranking 1 – 8
Superclass , Junior Superclass & Masters- award plus a plates ranking 1-8
Superclass 1-3 - money
Race Plate Colours:
Sprockets - Orange Plate Black Numbers
Challenge Age - Yellow Plate and Black Numbers
Girls Age - Blue Plates with White numbers
Cruisers - Red Plate with White Numbers
Plate numbers :
Riders can choose a number - 2 or 3 digits only
Cannot be 1-8, 0 ,00
This becomes your permanent number
- add it to your club noms and Entryboss profile
It’s a good idea to check if anyone else in the age class already has that number so you don’t double up
