And thats a wrap for season 2025/26! Presentation night was a huge success. Congratulations to all the award winners, with a huge shout out once again to our B grade side who took out the LO7 Minor premiership and Grand Final! Special mention to The Blacksmiths Inn for hosting the event, with a nod to the chef and bar staff for the great food and drinks!! Also, again to the Blacksmiths Inn for their continued support throughout the season as the clubs major sponsor. A thanks also goes to Saints Painting & Decorating for their continued support through sponsorship over the last several years, and to the families who contribute through sponsorship. And a final thanks to everyone who has been a part of the club this season whether it be as a player, a coach, a scorer, a volunteer or a supporter... without you all we wouldn't have this great club!!

Congratulations to Craig Bartlam, Graham Watson, Ben Schmidtke and Jay Balloch for being inducted as One Tree Hill Cricket Club Life Members recognising the many years of commitment and service to the club.

Dates for the AGM meeting will be released soon, and we look forward to seeing you all next season to go again in the hunt for success in 2026/27!!

The regular 'Home and Away' season has come to an end with 2 victories and a win by forfeit this weekend, but our season continues into the finals series. With the ladders now finalised we'd like to congratulate our B grade side for winning the minor premiership, also our A grade and C grade side for securing a home semi finals with both finishing second in their respective divisions. This means the A grade will be playing their semi final at McGilp Oval, our B grade potentially at Uley Rd (tbc) and our C grade will be at Blake's Crossing Christian College on Saturday 14th March at 1pm. So come out and support the Billie Goats in their quest for 3 Premiership flags in our 150th season!!!

Well this weeks games were all washed out which means 1 game left to play of the regular season and we have all 3 sides guaranteed to play finals. Congratulations to our B grade for sewing up the minor premiership, and with our A grade and C grade its all to play for in the last game with both sides sitting in 2nd place.

Its been an amazing few weeks for the club. Up until 3 weeks ago we hadn't seen a clean sheet of victories over 1 weekend with all 6 sides ( U10s Gold, U10s Green, U12s, A Grade, B Grade and C Grade) getting victories. On the weekend of the 13th/14th of February we achieved it, and then 1 week later on the 20th/21st February we achieved it again!!

The Junior season has now wrapped up, and its been a great success for all involved. Our kids have really stepped up this season lead by coaches Ben Schmidtke, Dan Schultz and Danny Stevens. To cap off the Junior Season, presentation night will be at McGilp Oval on Friday 6th March starting at 5pm with actual presentations to commence from 6.30pm

After the last game of the regular season on Saturday 7th March the A Grade, B Grade and C grade player of the year count will be held at McGilp Oval along with the Billy Goat Races event!! So dont miss that one!! The week after will be the Semi Finals!!!

28/02/2026

Unfortunately due to weather conditions the A grade, B grade and C grade games have all been called off today. We are heading up to our major sponsor The Blacksmiths Inn for a feed and a couple of amber refreshments if anyone is keen to join us. Thanks!!!

Well what an amazing day Saturday was!! We have already has some incredible feedback on the cake that we had to celebrate our 150th Birthday! Not only did it look great, but it tasted amazing!! So a huge thanks goes out to Unique Homestyle Foods for making this piece of edible art for us! And a big shout out to Kurt Warmington and Jess Warmington at Unique Homestyle Foods for organising it and delivering it up to us on Saturday! A big birthday definitely needed a big, delicious cake and this one certainly ticked all the boxes 🎂 🎂 🎂

Billie Goat Family... as we all know by now tomorrow is our 150th birthday celebrations. As mentioned previously this is an open invite to players, ex players, Family and friends of the club, the community of One Tree Hill, The Blacksmiths Inn Patrons Club, and generally anyone thats wants to celebrate the history of this great club.

We just wanted to give a little run down for how the day will play out. The bar will be open from 12.30pm, the A grade will be playing at home vs Enfield with play commencing at 1pm. Burger Cult will be arriving and setting up from around 3pm and will be serving a selection of burgers and loaded fries. Cricket usually finishes 6pm-630pm 'ish'. The B grade will be playing away and hopefully arriving back at the club around 7pm if not before if they get an early result. Once the A grade game is finished, and the B grade are back to the club we'll run a few little formalities with a bit of birthday ceremony. The club president will have a few words, invite everyone to join in singing happy birthday to the club, there'll be a cake brought out and we'll do an official 'cutting of the cake' to formally mark the day. The club will the continue to be open into the evening for people to continue celebrating!

We hope to see everybody there at some point during the day, and would like to encourage people to hang around at least until the formalities of the cake cutting are complete because after all its not a birthday without a cake!!

See you on The Hill!

Again, just another reminder and a bit of an update. We have confirmed that Burger Cult will be at the event cooking a variety of burgers, with fries and loaded fries at very reasonable prices, with some gluten free options available too. They will be setting up around 3pm and continue cooking into the evening
The A grade are playing at home vs Enfield in a huge 1st vs 2nd showdown. Both us and Enfield have gone back and forth between the top two spots all season, and Enfield got the better of us at their ground earlier in the season so it has all the potential to be a closely contested game
The B grade, who are currently sitting top of the ladder will be playing away against Salisbury West. The C grade will be looking to strengthen their position in top 4 at home on our 2nd ground at Blake's Crossing vs Parafield Gardens. So with a bit of luck they'll be returning to the club around 6.30ish with 2 wins in the bag
The invite is open to all members, previous members, family and friends of the club, to the community of One Tree Hill and of course to the Patrons Club of our major sponsor The Blacksmiths Inn

See you all Saturday 31st January to celebrate 150 years of cricket in One Tree Hill!!!

Ok so we've managed to finalised our date for the big 150th celebrations. We did plan on Australia day long weekend but have steered away from that and the date will be Saturday 31st January. A grade will be playing playing at home that weekend too!!

Obviously this is a huge year for the club, celebrating our foundation season 150 years ago in 1876!! So this one's an open invite to players, past players, families and friends of the club, current and past opponents and the wider community of One Tree Hill!
