I don’t think balance needs to look the same 365 days a year

fitness will always be a priority for me, but the level of focus I give a specific goal changes depending on the phase I’m in

Sometimes I’m maintaining, travelling, eating the pasta and enjoying what I’ve built 😂🍝

And sometimes I decide I want MORE from myself

More structure, more intention more discipline. A goal to chase and a reason to raise the standard for a little while

I don’t think either is better than the other

but I do think there’s something pretty powerful about knowing when it’s time to stop coasting and see what you’re capable of when you properly commit 👀

And with a little over 3 months left of 2026...

I reckon the timing is pretty perfect

More tomorrow 🔒❤️‍🔥

This is how “I was so motivated in January” slowly turns into “I’ll just start again next year”

and after years of coaching women through their transformations, I can tell you it’s rarely one big moment where someone decides to give up on their goal

It happens gradually

Progress feels slower than they expected, so they start questioning whether what they’re doing is working

A few workouts get missed…Meal prep becomes less of a priority…. “I don’t have time” starts creeping in. One week out of routine becomes a few compounding

and eventually, the things they were so determined to do at the beginning of the year just… stop happening

Not because they stopped wanting the result

They stopped consistently doing the things that were creating it

This is why I talk so much about consistency over motivation. You don’t need a perfect run. You don’t need to feel excited about your goal every day. And falling out of routine doesn’t mean you’ve failed.

but at some point, you do have to decide to start showing up again

So if you’ve started to quietly fade

There is still plenty of 2026 left to do something with

And I’ve got something coming for the girls who are ready to do exactly that 👀

It’s actually wild to me that we’re already in September 😅

I’ve been thinking a lot while I’ve been away about what I want the rest of this year to look like. I’m really proud of my year so far. I’ve done a lot, built a lot, travelled, had some amazing experiences and I definitely don’t feel like I need to come home and suddenly “get my s**t together” lol

I’m honestly just excited to get back into my normal routine, set some new goals and keep going!

But I know for some of you, September probably feels a little different

Maybe you started this year saying you were finally going to lose the weight, get consistent with training, feel better in yourself… and somehow that goal has just kept getting pushed back.

And if you still want it, I don’t think you need to write the year off and wait for January!!

There’s still so much time left 😍

Not to go on some crazy diet or sacrifice everything you enjoy for the next few months

Just to actually start following through on the things you keep saying you want for yourself

Anywayyyy… I may have something planned for us for the final stretch of the year 👀

More on that very soon or you can jump on the waitlist in my bio and be first to know x

If eating out is where your nutrition goals usually go to 💩 because you have no idea what to order… this is how I make it easier 👇🏼

When I’m looking at a breakfast menu, I’m not searching for the lowest calorie option or trying to order the “healthiest” thing there

I’m looking for something simple and balanced

Usually that means:

a decent source of protein
some carbs
fruit or veg where it makes sense
a meal where I can actually identify most of what’s on my plate

For example, eggs, toast, avocado a side of fruit is pretty easy to understand

A breakfast with 15 different ingredients, sauces, dressings and extras? Not so much 😂

And this is especially helpful when you are tracking!

You don’t have to avoid eating out just because you can’t weigh everything

The simpler the meal, the easier it is to look at what’s on your plate, find comparable entries in your tracking app and make a reasonable estimate

Will it be perfectly accurate? No of course not

But consistently being pretty close is far more useful than deciding you can’t track it perfectly, so you may as well not track the entire day 🤗

Eating out is part of life

Learning how to make choices that still support your goals while actually enjoying it is the skill you need gf

If you want your body to change, something about your “normal” has to change too 👀

You can eat pretty healthy.
You can eat what feels like normal portions.
You can train a few times a week.
You can be doing a LOT of good things.

But if those are the same habits that have maintained your current body composition… why would they suddenly create a different one?

Weight loss isn’t “normal”

It requires you to intentionally create an environment where your body has a reason to change.

That might mean weighing your food for a period of time.
Being more accurate with portions.
Increasing your steps.
Training with more intent.
Saying no sometimes when you’d normally say yes.

Not forever. But long enough to create the result you’re asking for.

I think we’ve become so obsessed with making fat loss feel effortless that we forget:

Change requires change.

You cannot ask your body for something different while being unwilling to do anything differently.

The goal isn’t to diet forever.

It’s to have enough structure and intention to create the change you want, then learn how to maintain it with more flexibility.

And if you’re reading this thinking okay, I’m ready to actually do something different… there might be something coming for you 👀

If you keep telling yourself you’d finally get results if life would just calm down a little… read this

Rianna works full time as a nurse, studies and works odd shifts

When she started with me, she told me she felt like she never had the structure to fully commit to herself

And one of her biggest fears?

“That it’s not going to work and that I’m going to give up.”

She didn’t need life to get less busy

She didn’t need to suddenly find more motivatio

And she definitely didn’t need to be perfect

She needed structure that actually worked around the life she already had

13kg down. 47.5cm down. And still going!!!🔥

as Rianna has progressed, her goals have actually grown too, because she’s realised just how much she’s capable of 🥰

And I think that’s one of the best parts of this transformation

The girl who was worried she’d give up kept showing up

If you’ve been waiting for work to settle down, your schedule to get easier or for the “right time” to finally focus on yourself… time is ALWAYS passing by, so you might as well learn how to make it work.

And if this is hitting a little too close to home 👀 we have something coming in September that you’ll want to know about

Fill in the form in my bio to jump on the TFC waitlist and you’ll be the first to hear 🤫

So bloody proud of you Rianna 🤍
