60 ALL.
Nobody is going anywhere.
Overtime.
5 minutes each way.

Every possession matters.
Every tackle matters.
Every single second matters.

Half-time of overtime…
66 ALL.
Still nothing separating them.

The final minutes of overtime tick away…
72 ALL.
The siren DOESNT sound again.

NOBODY IS GOING HOME.

The plan is simple.
NEXT SCORE WINS.

The tension is unbearable.
The crowd is on edge.
Hearts are racing.
Every kick could end it.

And then…

11 LONG. TORTUROUS. HEART-STOPPING MINUTES AND 12 SECONDS LATER…

HISTORY. WAS. MADE.

After yesterday’s HUGE efforts, we had success in both our Junior Colts and A Grade👊🔥

Our Junior Colts head to McLaren Vale Oval to take on McLaren Vale, who finished top of the ladder.

After what can only be described as the MATCH OF THE YEAR — an overtime nail-biter and an incredible fight until the very end — our boys took home the WIN! 👊🔥

A Massive Thank You to Drakes Mt Compass!

A massive thank you to Drakes Mt Compass for their incredible support of the Mt Compass Bulldogs throughout the 2026 season.

This year, Drakes has kept us well and truly looked after, with a constant supply of baked goods, salads and all those extra supplies needed to keep our club running week after week. Your generosity and ongoing support certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful.

It takes a lot to run a football club, but more importantly, it takes a whole community to make one successful.

We simply wouldn’t be where we are today without the incredible businesses, families, volunteers and community members who continue to get behind the Bulldogs.

And just like that… the season games have drawn to a close!

But WOW, what a finish for our Bulldogs! 🔥

The final ladder positions are in, and we’ve got THREE teams heading into finals!

🥉 **Junior Colts — 3rd**
🥉 **B Grade — 3rd**
🥈 **A Grade — 2nd**

So… what does that mean? 👀

It means WE’RE ALL OFF TO GOOLWA OVAL NEXT SATURDAY!💥

And who are we facing?

MYPONGA. AGAIN. 😏

All three teams will take on the Mudlarks in the first round of finals, so there’s plenty on the line and plenty of Bulldogs ready to bring the heat.

The season may have wrapped up, but the real fun is just beginning.

Three teams. One oval. One mission.

😈 And the Myponga Mudlarks are about to get a very up-close look at what finals football is going to feel like.

Tomorrow, we’re not just chasing the wins — we’re taking notes.📝
Finding the cracks.
