It may have been a quiet week on the scoreboard, but Morgan Bowling Club certainly hasn’t been sitting on the bank! Exciting plans are brewing, Night Owls are preparing to take flight on Tuesday 6th October and our bowls-loving dads have had their special day. Plenty happening behind the scenes—now we just need to look forward to the start of pennants 😉🔵⚪️

Lots of exciting things happening at the Morgan Bowling Club, with support from some very generous sponsors Northwest Bend, Morgan Riverside Caravan Park, Foxtale Houseboats and The Perks pubs along with the Club we now have purchased a courtesy Bus , if you need a ride to any of these establishments or a lift to our Bingo nights and night owls we will be able to accommodate that. We are also planning to open the club up Friday nights after practice for those that are interested 🥳🍺🥂❤️👨🏼‍✈️🚐

What a positive and productive meeting we had today! 💙

There are so many exciting things in the wind for our club, and it’s fantastic to see everyone sharing ideas, lending a hand and working together towards the same goals.

We’re very fortunate to have such strong leadership guiding the way, backed by a wonderful group of people who genuinely care about the future of our club.

If today’s meeting is anything to go by, there are some very exciting times ahead for Morgan Bowling Club! 🙌🎉

Watch this space… we’re just getting warmed up! 😉

💙💛 WELL… CADELL CAME, CADELL SAW, CADELL CONQUERED!

What a fantastic day we had today for our first Pre-Season Bowls Challenge against our good friends from Cadell!

There was plenty of good bowls, a few that we’d probably rather not discuss 🤫, plenty of laughs and some great friendly rivalry out on the green.

Unfortunately, when all was said and done, Cadell walked away with the bragging rights and the win. 😏👏

Congratulations Cadell — enjoy it while you can… because apparently you’ve now agreed to a REMATCH! 😂

We’ve got a whole month to practise our draw shots, sort out our wicks, perfect our excuses and work out exactly where it all went wrong! 😂

A huge thank you to everyone from both clubs who came along and made today such an enjoyable one. Days like this are exactly what bowls is all about — good bowls, good mates, plenty of laughs and a bit of healthy competition. 💙💛❤️

THIS SATURDAY is the time for Morgan to answer Cadell’s challenge 😏

Come on everyone — we want to see plenty of enthusiasm out on that green!

Pennant season will be here before we know it, so this is the perfect chance to dust off the bowls, get the arm working again and enjoy some good old-fashioned friendly rivalry with Cadell.

Let’s get a great Morgan crowd together, have a roll, have a laugh and enjoy a BBQ afterwards.

I’m in Winton in the outback at the moment. Checked out the bowls club……mmmm🤔🤔no more complaints about greens from me!
