In a year where floods have impacted communities, clubs, training & competitions, the individual performances of our elite waterski athletes have often been overshadowed. Let’s give credit to our Three Watersports team skier Lara Butlin & her incredible list of achievements at all the major events throughout the season in her 1st year skiing in Open Women

Australian Masters - 1st slalom 2nd trick, 2nd jump, 2nd overall.

Junior Moomba- 1st slalom , 2 years in a row.

Aussie Kiwi - 2nd slalom, jump and overall.

Nationals- 2nd slalom and overall, 3rd trick and jump.

Selected in the Australian U21 world team, Mexico in June 2023

Open Australian world team, Florida October 2023

Happy times for Lara Butlin. A new D3 ION 2, compliments of her sponsors D3 Waterskis & Threewatersports. Hopefully the weather remains fine this weekend for Lara to put her new ski through the slalom course & provide us with her review next week

After taking out the 2022 Junior Moomba Slalom title, our team skier Lara Butlin took her consistency to the next level making it to senior ‘Moomba Monday’ finals & skiing a new PB to top it off. Congratulations Lara, once again we are so proud of your efforts, your performance is an absolute credit to your dedication.

That was huge Josh Wallent. Another great tournament for our Three Watersport team skier smashing out a huge 67.0 metre jump to set a new course record & pending SA open mens state record at Bedrock Rd 3 today. Never thought that another 5 metres could be stretched out of this restrictive site. Hard work & a new set of D3 nightmare jump skis are really starting to pay off for Josh. All the best for Moomba
