What an absolutely fantastic Gala Day we had! 🏉🙌 It was a huge success and the perfect way to finish off the season for our amazing juniors.

But more importantly, we want to say a massive THANK YOU for the entire season. ❤️

To every coach, manager, LeagueSafe, parent, family member and supporter — thank you for your time, effort and commitment throughout the season.

Thank you for bringing your kids to training twice a week and getting them to game days, making sure they had their jerseys, boots and everything they needed. Thank you for remembering the lollies and oranges, being organised, getting up early, getting everyone where they needed to be and supporting the kids every step of the way.

A very special THANK YOU to our President Alex and his wife Stevee, and to all of our amazing committee members. ❤️🖤

There is so much that goes into a season behind the scenes, and we truly appreciate every little thing you have done to make sure our juniors could train, play and enjoy their footy. So much of the hard work happens behind the scenes, and it certainly doesn’t go unnoticed. We are incredibly grateful for everything you have done for our club and our kids. ❤️

And to our amazing junior players — YOU DID IT! 🏉🔥

You’ve trained hard, played hard, made friendships, created memories and continued to grow throughout the season. We are incredibly proud of every single one of you and everything you have achieved.

It takes a whole Steelers family to make a season happen, and we honestly couldn’t do it without all of you.

🏉 LAST ROUND AND OUR LAST HOME GAME DAY – TOMORROW! 🔴⚫⚪

It's another exciting day of rugby league as we host most of our Doveton Steelers teams at home tomorrow! We can't wait to welcome our players, families, volunteers, officials and visiting clubs for a fantastic day of footy.

To help the day run smoothly, please make sure everyone follows these house rules as THE COUNCIL may do there rounds:

🌟➡️🚫🚫 STRICTLY NO PARKING🚫🚫 ⬅️🌟

along the roads inside the reserve where the wooden posts and chains are located. These areas must remain clear at all times to allow emergency vehicle access, officials, pedestrians and the safe movement of traffic.

🌟➡️🅿️🅿️ THERE IS PARKING AT ROBERT BOOTH RESERVE 🅿️🅿️⬅️🌟

There is plenty of parking available at Robert Booth Reserve, just across the road. Access is via Kidds Road and it's just over the bridge from our fields. Please use this car park to help keep traffic flowing safely.
Also parking is available outside the grounds at myuna farm fence line and betula reserve fence line on the street.

✅ Please respect our volunteers, referees and match officials. ✅ Cheer on all teams and show respect to our visiting clubs, their players, coaches and supporters. ✅ Remember that junior sport is about fun, learning and good sportsmanship. ✅ Keep our grounds clean by using the bins provided. ✅ No abusive language or poor sideline behaviour – let's create a positive environment for everyone. ✅ Supervise children at all times. ✅ Support our canteen throughout the day.

Let's make tomorrow a fantastic day of rugby league by creating a positive atmosphere, supporting every team, respecting one another and showing what the Doveton Steelers family is all about.

Absolutely super proud to read feedback about one of our own today, u11s #13 Poa!
Your smashing it and such great sportsmanship on and off the field. Here is some feedback we recieved today from the Eastern Raptors Rugby League Club and a video they got of one of his plays today. Such a great asset to the team.

🌟Hello! I’m one of the mums from the Raptors Under 11 team and I managed to capture this great moment of your #13. I thought I’d send it through because it’s honestly so awesome seeing the young boys out there finding their confidence and realising just how much they can bring to the game.

We played you guys previously, and the improvement in him since then is amazing to see. He looks so much more confident in himself and his ability, and he’s absolutely killing it out there! 💪🏉

There’s something pretty special about watching a kid start to believe in himself on the field, you can really see that confidence growing in him. Keep it up #13! 🙌🌟

📸 CLUB PHOTO NIGHT – TONIGHT! 📸

Just a reminder that there is NO training tonight as we'll be taking our official club photos.

⏰ Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your allocated photo time. We need everyone ready to go so we can keep the schedule running on time.

👕 Come photo-ready in your:
🏉 Club jersey
🩳 Club shorts
🧦 Club socks

Please ensure your uniform is clean and looking its best for the photos.

👕 If your team manager has your playing jersey, don't worry! It will be ready for you to put on before your team photo.

🌧️ With the wet weather, please bring your boots with you and put them on once you're inside the clubrooms. This will help keep your boots dry and minimise the mud and mess. 🙏

Also as not alot of room in clubrooms due to photos, maybe just stay in cars till 5mins before your session so you stay warm and not get wet.

⚠️ Please don't be late. Unfortunately, if you miss your team's allocated time slot, you may miss out on being included in the club photos.
