Who could forget this beautiful moment that happened by the winners of the 2025 Outside Change Cup Professional New Vogue Champions. After being announced the 2025 Champions, Christopher Wilson proposed to his lovely partner, Jordan Kopp-Collins. A magical night for them both and, of course, she said YES. chris & Jordan were crowned the champions in both 2024 & 2025 in the Professional New Vogue event. Please enjoy their Honours Dance as well, the Carousel. Thank you to DanceSport Report | DSR for capturing this unforgettable moment. A little bit of Australian dancing history found on you tube with some footage of the 1961 Australian Ballroom Dancing Championship.
You will see couple number 10 in the Ballroom section, Keith & Joan Collins who were former Amateur Champions.
Couple number 5 in the Latin, who were the winners of both the Ballroom and the Latin Professional events, the great Kevin Gibson & Shirley Saunderson. Kevin & Shirley were also World Professional Ballroom and Latin Finalists and winners of no less than 14 Australian Professional titles.
Fabulous footage to see although extremely short.
Never forget our past and those who led the way for Australian dancers.
We are always looking for more video footage from years gone past, if anyone has anything they would like to share, please feel free to forward to us at [email protected] or send us a DM.
