LEVELLING UP! 💪

These artists were invited to a Pole Workshop at themissfillyinstituteofpole and what an incredible experience it was.

Elyshia Sampson took them through a range of static and spin pole skills.

From shapes, inverts and slides… we all learnt how to work on a new apparatus.

We can’t wait to see how they use their new knowledge to influence and inform their art and movement.

Truly matching our ethos… and going BEYOND an artist normal.

The hard work and stress that can happen behind the scenes.

But here’s a reminder for us all… the audience doesn’t know what you went through to get here.

All they know is the version of you that you present to them.

So present the version of you that is capable, strong and confident.

Because that person is you! 🫵

As we prepare for our next performances at Bend The Air this is the perfect time to remind ourselves of some important things:

💚 Honour the version of yourself that believed you could! At some point you decided you would do it, you would try and that you were going to be brave. Remember that!

💚 Every step is a step. No matter how big or small it may seem.

💚 It’s just you, the lights and the crowd out there. HAVE FUN!

💚 You’ve already done the hard work. This is the easy bit!

💚 Forget ‘perfect’ and aim for ‘real’ instead.

✨ ARTIST EXPERIENCES ✨

Our beyond artists took an outing to watch OZ Cirque Experience and witness circus and aerials in a professional setting.

It was such a joy to come together outside of training, to connect and talk about performances and artistry.

After the show, we discussed our favourite parts and how they were related to their own aerial performances (over yo-chi of course).

What a wonderful experience, and the first of many!

You’ve been stretching wrong! 😱

Our favourite Osteo .jarvis.2.0 payed us a visit to talk all things injury prevention, aerial anatomy and age appropriate strength training.

Did you know you could have been stretching your hip flexors better with this simple stretch?

Our hip flexors do ALOT for us in aerial training and something we often complain about being tight, sore or over used.

Here’s a simple Osteo approved stretch you can incorporate to your practise to help you get the most out of your time.

It’s time to say hello to… HARRIET! 👋

She’s one of the incredible artists taking part in our 2026 course, and she’ll be showcasing her brand new acts. Not one, but TWO!

Each year we see so much growth from our emerging artists, and Harriet has been no exception.

It’s been amazing watching her explore, refine and step into her creative voice. We can’t wait to share what she’s been building with you all!

A little about Harriet: outside of the studio, she has a big interest in science and that curiosity definitely shows up in the way she thinks, questions and creates!

Big things are coming and Harriet is just getting started.

A moment on stage…

An experience to remember forever!

Over the weekend, our 2026 artist Rosie took the stage in Sydney.

What a joy it was to see Rosie shine on stage with her new trapeze act! As coaches, we are frequently side stage cheering, so it’s not often we get to enjoy their performances from the front.

This one was such an emotive piece and we are glad we had the opportunity to witness it from the audiences perspective.

Congratulations on a beautiful performance!
