We’re pleased to announce a revised advanced training timetable commencing Monday October 5, providing more focused opportunities for students to develop their skills as they progress through the senior ranks.

These sessions are part of our commitment to providing students with a clear and progressive pathway through GKR Karate — from developing the fundamentals, to refining advanced skills and continuing their growth beyond Black Belt.

A Change to Our Ladies Night Sessions

A quick update for our GKR Region 30 members.

Our regular Tuesday Ladies Night session has now concluded and will no longer operate as a weekly class.

We’ve really enjoyed seeing the enthusiasm and participation these sessions have generated, and we certainly don’t see this as the end of Ladies Only training.

Instead, we’ll be looking to introduce Ladies Only Self Defence sessions as special events throughout the year — giving us the opportunity to focus specifically on practical self-defence skills, confidence and personal safety in a dedicated training environment.

Keep an eye on our social pages and dojo noticeboards for details of upcoming sessions.

The next Tournament Training session is Saturday August 22nd.

This is the last chance for those attending the State Championships in September.

Additional sessions have been added for September and October, for those wishing to get in some extra training for the National Championships in November.

If competing isn't your primary motive you can still attend and get some great coaching tips to improve your Kata and Kumite.

This is a FREE class for Training Pass holders.
