Our 2023 - 10th Edition of Brimbank Trail Runs has a special limited edition Medal (400 only) moulded to compliment our regular awesome medal acknowledging local wildlife and indigenous history. The 400 medals have almost all been allocated. Entries remain open online until Saturday. 2023 Updated Trail Maps - Due to delays in reopening the river trail we have created some new courses for the longer distance runners. 2km-5km-10km remain unchanged.
21km-42km-50km runners course are new for 2023.
The course created for the 21km event will be used by the 42km and 50km event (x2) with an 8km adventure at the beginning of the 50km before taking on the first 21km loop.
You can still grab some entries and save before the late fees kick in.

The first 400 entrants online will receive our 10th year special edition medal, heres a draft image from the designers, showing some of the Brimbank Parks local inhabitants. Flying high above the park. The Wedged Tail Eagle observes a mob of local Kangaroos, while a snake slithers to the waterways for a drink where a fish calmly swims by.

Did you know by simply registering for the Brimbank Park Running Festival – 2021 on March 21st.

The team from Brimbank City Council’s Sunshine Leisure Centre are excited to offer support for your preparation and training, they are offering all registrants a complimentary 5 week Aquatic membership at Sunshine Leisure Centre.

This membership will give you access to all of the aquatic facilities including their program pool which is ideal for recovery.

Memberships will be activated from Monday February 15th and end on Sunday March 21st.

From 1 March 2021, the outdoor pool at Sunshine Leisure Centre will be operating with their Winter opening hours.

Our 8 lane 25 metre outdoor pool is suitable for leisure swimmers as well as experienced swimmers and squads. The pool depth ranges from 1.2m–1.8m, and the temperature is set at 27 degrees all year round.

Adjacent to the pool is a fully covered grandstand, and close by are our heated outdoor changerooms.

The outdoor pool will be open during the following time periods from Monday 1 March:

Monday - Friday: 6am - 11am and 4pm - 7pm
Weekends: 8am - 12pm

Just completed your run at Brimbank this past weekend, be sure to plan this one for September.

Run the Roads Less Travelled across Phillip Island at the inaugural Phillip Island Running Festival in September 2019.

The event will take runners through a variety of Phillip Island’s spectacular terrains showcasing the natural beauty of Phillip Island’s beaches, coastline and woodlands.

The festival, run by Trails+ in partnership with Phillip Island Nature Parks will cater for participants of all fitness levels ranging in distance from two kilometres up to an Ultra Marathon challenge. Save the date and happy training.
