Exciting news !!!!!!
I am pleased to announce that Racing Australia has officially confirmed my nomination for Bobby's Racing name.
His official racing name is Pharlani. 😀
Sire: Palentino
Dam: Speak Softly (our Daisy) 😍
The background to his name is that when I was in primary school in 1974, I always loved the Pharlap story, and then along came Leilani who dominated many of the big races that year winning many group 1’s and listed races.
I started throwing around various combinations by combining parts of both of their names, and eventually I came up with Pharlani. I know it sounds a bit corny but hey, it is what it is, and after all I was only 10 years old at the time.
I always dreamed of having my own race horse and if I did I would like to name it Pharlani. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that this would come to fruition, and here we are, another step closer to making the dream become reality.
So Pharlani it is and lets hope he channels the performances of them both and to have a smidgeon of their success on the track would be magnificent.

He is going really well, and he does not have any issues or concerns, everything so far is perfect and may he continue to develop accordingly.
